Maybeboard

Close one eye, step to the side.

A deck I recently tuned up for multi-player. Not really meant to be a tier 9-10 (won't ever be) in terms of competitiveness, but I am striving to get it to an optimized level. Right now, I think this deck is at about a 5-6 level of being focused, with some elements becoming optimized.

Sling Morphs & Manifests, keep mana open when possible for Morph costs. Use Beastmaster Ascension and/or Overwhelming Stampede to strike.

Brine Elemental + Vesuvan Shapeshifter

Kadena, Slinking Sorcerer + Trail of Mystery

Grim Haruspex + Thieving Amalgam

Grim Haruspex + Vela the Night-Clad

Guardian Project + Mystic Forge

Cards I would consider cutting

Vela the Night-Clad- I like getting intimidate for making a field of Morphs (nearly) unblockable, as well as the interactions for my creatures leaving the battlefield. Cool effects, but could be cut for something more synergystic.

Muraganda Petroglyphs- Makes morphs beefier, but kind of useless once they flip.

Broodhatch Nantuko- Basically in the deck to die & create some tokens. I think I could slot in a Blue creature with morph that has another control-type effect when it flips, or just a Fog

Cyclonic Rift- I like this card a lot, but I would mostly cut it to avoid salty reactions, even though I think my pod has the tools to deal with this.

Cards I'm most heavily considering slotting in

Riptide Entrancer

Exsanguinate - Mostly to have another group slug type effect that can also help me stabilize life total, or finish off opponents.
