Court of Grace is so saucy here. I converted my Marisi to weenie/enchantress with a (protection tribal) subtheme & haven't looked back.. But I still love this more midrange take too (I've done pretty good with it as well). For the record, if you like protection with Marisi quite a bit Akroma's Will is also saucy.

Yeah the Court introducing the monarch and being a source of reliable token generation is a very nice compromise between fun and function. Sorry Sunny!Elspeth, you weren't doing the curve any favors either.
I feel Akroma's is kinda awkward, since I'd mainly want it as a wrath answer (with the Overrun impression on the side) and CMC 4 is just slightly too high for that to be reliable.

I'll concede though that Akroma's Will being fetchable by Sunforger is pretty cool

Aceh: Yes but I haven't properly updated this in ages even though it used to be my signature deck, it's giving me anixiety.

Aceh: Alright you managed to "goad" me. It was painful but I changed a couple of things, the deck's a bit less stylish now (the sad corner got bigger) but also a bit more functional.

Coward_Token haha, yeah I had to do the same thing to my Marisi deck back in the day. The way most metas have shifted, it is really difficult to influence the midgame enough with multiple turn build-up plans, the metas don't aim for midgame moves that much... usually it is just fast early mana & endgame focused... So unfortunately to have some fun (keep up a little better), I had to aim for more mana efficiency & less combatish pet cards

So happy you put Earnest Fellowship in. Love the protection + evasion aspect...& not too many nonbos to override the quirky benefits

Gleeock: Yeah and it's so cheap too. On the topic of Marisi though, I've been kinda dissapointed with the slow churn of new token gifting cards, was expecting it to be more common with how much attention EDH is receiving

Aurelia, the Law Above from the upcoming Murders at Karlov Manor set might be of interest. She seems like a potentially fun Goad/combat control commander on her own.

I already kinda put her on indefinite hold? She’s a bit expensive for the deck’s average MV, and it really needs more of that token gifting goodness for her to consistently draw four cards every turn rotation.

Some of the problem with "gifting" is the unfocused nature of "good" gifting synergy cards. I would have thought Naya would be the perfect colors to token-gift & clutter the field & then remove the non-creature threats & turn it into a weenie-for-all slugfest... However, the game designers just stuck with with plain-ole' token beaters like Ghired or Jetmir or made prime-gifters have way too steep of a CMC in this color pairing (CMC should ALWAYS be discounted if you are gifting an opponent IF removal easily topples that house of cards), gifting should be a COST associated with another discount (like the "hunted" cycle).
So some of the better draw & gifting synergy out there seem to be spread throughout or for some reason - Making it so that, soon enough, the only option will be a WUBRG "best at" gifting commander cash grab: Instead of just making gifting into a strong, unique, & fresh Naya archetype that it could have been.
This is part of why I just made mine into an oddball enchantress with an additional goad perk on the commander.

mn6334: Bit the bullet and added Herald of the Host after all; couldn't justify excluding it and Frenzied Saddlebrute when I had two CMC 8/9 cards that weren't as immediately bomb as they should be for their cost. As you said, think it'll be great.
