Basically, I am trying to use Aetherworks Marvel to cast something big early. I wanted to try to keep the deck fairly competitive for standard, so I tried to not go all in on the 'combo', and instead play cards that are also decent on their own.

One of my biggest questions is how many payoff cards do I need to run. As it stands, I am running 8 (2 Noxious Gearhulk, 2 Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger, 2 Distended Mindbender and 2 Emrakul, the Promised End). You could, I guess, count Ob Nixilis as at least a fine hit off of Marvel, although it is certainly not what I am hoping for.

I just added a very tentative sideboard. I have only playtested a very minimal amount so far, so it is likely to change.

I am very open to suggestions! I am confident this is not the best version that can be built, but I am not sure how to make it better, so bring on the feedback!
