I am good with SB thassa, but I do like Desecration Demon much better than I like Shadowborn Demon , but I am ok with a split there as well. Both are decent threats

is there any value to reanimating Progenitor Mimic ? I feel things like Kalonian Hydra , Desecration Demon , and Giant Adephage all are just as usefull being reanimated as they are being cast from our hand. what do you think??

I actually think a split between the demons is a good idea because if there aren't six creatures in our graveyard we can just sacrifice Shadowborn Demon and then re-enter him whenever we need to destroy a creature.

No, i guess not with Progenitor Mimic , it wouldn't work because the next upkeep is when it begins making it's token. I just saw that

everything we've discussed so far has had a pretty high cost, Desecration Demon being the lowest at 4. What else are we going to put in her in terms of creatures? I don't know how well this will work but I've been intrigued by this card ever since I saw it.. Burnished Hart . how does sacrificing it for 2 land, then reanimating it and sacrificing it for another 2 land sound? I don' t know how feasible this would be but just something that I thought was cool.

Don't forget Lotleth Troll only costs 2. Burnished Hart may be a little slow. Thoughts?

That's kind of what I was thinking, I would honestly rather have Sylvan Caryatid for ramp rather than the artifact creature, and we never did discuss the Reaper of the Wilds either.

With as much as we plan on sagging and killing I think his scry is better than Thassa. He isbalso hard to remove. I can see playing him.

yeah that's what I thought too, like I said that thing just intrigues me. Sylvan Caryatid is definitely a good idea, its not just ramp it's fixing as well. Reaper of the Wilds is alright, it doesn't really jump out to me as a must have though, but that's just my opinion. I feel like we could find another 4 drop that synergizes better, just because when we reanimate with the whip the creature gets exiled and doesn't die so that takes away the scry.

but it's not just when OUR creatures die abenz419 and with the Deathtouch and Hexproof, it sticks around for awhile.

his ability does work when our opponents creature dies too so that's a plus, I just think that a big part of our reanimate takes away half of what Reaper of the Wilds does

it just feels like the kind of card you have to put a big investment into once it comes into play, so we'd have to have more of a focus on that one card.

Lets skip to the mana base for a minute. Scry lands or no? And how many of each basics and shocks?

actually I changed my mind about the Reaper of the Wilds . With Desecration Demon out we get a free look at our next card every time they tap it. And with Shadowborn Demon we can bring it into play and kill something, sac it next upkeep and get a free look at our card right before we draw, then reanimate it to kill something else. It actually would be a really good 2 of card to fit in our 4 drops with Desecration Demon

I just think it has merit as a 4 drop next to the whip, it hits the field and the opponent doesn't want to attack any more. I mean look at our lineup so far, its friggin nasty. Lots of bombs coming out mid-game, but no early game defense, besides the troll and the caryatid now.

Why don't you go ahead and fix up the mana base Replayced, a solid 24 maybe? That way we can see the slots we have left and figure out some support spells as well.

I think shock lands are still a must with 3 colors. maybe a couple of scry lands just for a free look here and there. Till we get to the end of the Theros block you gotta take advantage of the shock lands if your going 3 colors

Grrr, the Scrylands are a hard choice, def need at least the 4 of's with the Breeding Pool and the Overgrown Tombs, but maybe 2-3 each depending on mana base with the Scrylands, we don't want to see them too often early game, but late game they are gold for the Scry and fixing.

@ShadowLand no I do see the value of it now I was really thinking about it. We do need early game stuff too. Also how many creatures do we want so we know how many other spells we need. I gotta head to bed but those are things that need to be worked on. I'll see whats been done when I get up tomorrow.
