NOTE: My Playgroup follows a principle in EDH: Get a commander you enjoy and build the best deck you can in a 200$ tcgplayer budget.

There are Alot of ways to win with this deck, ways that range from cards you own to things you copy from your enemies, it's all up to you seeing these win conditions, mixing up things and colors not meant to be togheter.

Win Conditions

  • Banefire - This sorcery allow you to deal copious amounts of damage by copying it (pun intended), cast it multiple times via your commander Reverberate and Twincast (and copy them if you wish) to increase even further your damage. not very important, but the formula for Banefire damage is:

f(x) = (x -2y -1)y;

where:

  • x = Mana desired to spend

  • y = times you want to copy fireball

  • 1 = red mana paid to cast fireball cost other than "X" in the card's mana cost

  • f(x) = total damage

  • Kalonian Hydra - This creature allows to, when copied once, hit for the first time for 32 trample, second time 128 trample (and it goes on) But with cards like Dack's Duplicate and Parallel Lives these numbers grow furiously; you can also copy them and swing for the kill with any Clone Effect card + Temur Ascendancy;

  • Temporal Mastery - Not exactly the card that makes you win, but with copying effects this card gives you multiple turns (formerly Expropriate, but it has been taken off due to being unfun), with only 2 turns you have alot of time to set up your other win conditions (or just get back in the game if you are screwed);

  • Thunderfoot Baloth - This one is as much as an aggressive card as it is defensive, it gives our creatures +2/+2. Right. But we are playing Riku of Two Reflections! meaning we dont think "this gives us +2/+2" we think "this gives us +2/+2 for each of it in play". Play it, copy it, clone it and copy the clone. Enjoy;

  • Rude Awakening - This one is a versatile spell, it can be used to either get you a myriad of mana by tapping all lands -> casting it to untap lands and copying it -> before both of them resolve, tap your lands again (we're looking at you, Banefire); and can also be used to beat people with 2/2's (Bonus points for having Thunderfoot Baloth);

  • Avenger of Zendikar. Plants on steroids. We ramp. Hard. Dropping an avenger of Zendikar easily creates over 16 plants, and by copying it, we get 32! (plus, landfall triggers twice). Bonus points with Parallel Lives;

HONORABLE MENTIONS

  • Release to the Wind can be used defensively or to gather up value - cast it targetting any creature to protect it, and an additional 2 mana to exile another one, when dust is settled, cast riku for free and the other creature for free and copy it; protect your commander, and trigger 2 battlecries for a minimal amount of mana

  • Sakashima's Student can be quite devastating, lets just say people will actually fear having no fliers in the board while you have a mighty 0/1 bird to attack with;

  • Reverberate, Twincast can be used to counter something countering a spell you have, if its a sorcery or instant you can also copy the twincast/reverberate targetting the spell they tried to counter just to say "f*ck you" (we also have Counterspell, Swan Song and Counterflux; in this category, we also have Vexing Shusher;

  • Inferno Titan, all Titans are pretty good, but this one can ping all the way from weenies and low health commanders, to pinging even the most resilient of creatures when copied enough.
