Thanks a lot to all the commenters baced on what your saying I can see this deck is very solid and does not need many changes and that's awsome im still open to any opinions but if the deck seems solid than what's the point of changing it

That's awsome its a fairly streight forward deck so you shouldn't worry about misplays all that much

I would consider Bloodghast as a possible addition. It is almost unkillable. Sure, it can't block, but once you have to play defense, something went wrong already.

that is true i could replace muckwader with it the only prob is the dual black mana cost makes it a little bit tougher to cast and it might turn into a dead card untill i can find the secong black mana scource

Nice deck!

You might want to try Rakdos Charm for your sideboard. It's a great option since it hoses Splinter Twin , graveyard shenanigans and even brings some artifact hate, all in one card.

Given the fact that you're not really trying to burn out your opponent, but rather play a grindy midrange strategy, Vexing Devil feels like a lost resource every time you cast it, unless you can just kill your opponent with it. Maybe replacing those with Lavaclaw Reaches (which will make casting Desecration Demons easier with 24 lands) will be good for you. Also Hero's Downfall in modern is really mana intensive for a format that doesn't play a lot of walkers, plus you can usually attack them to death. Maybe Thoughtseize or Inquisition of Kozilek would suit you better there.

I get what your saying about vexing devil everybody has their own opinion on him some think it's good because of the raw power that he is like 1 mana 4 damage to you now or 4 later but yea there is that concern that with a 2/2 like goblin guide can probobly produce the same or more damage than vexing devil my opinion of vexing devil is that had is really good especially because I run thoughtseize most people only let the devil stay on feild if they have an answer for him but if I turn two take that away with thoughtseize than now I have a dangerous threat on the feild or another option is if I draw into him late game a lot of the time the opponent can't just casually take 4 damage so the likelyhood he stays around is higher and I know I would rather have a 4/3 out in the late game than a 2/2

Herald of Torment maybe to replace Master of the Feast . Its not as good but if you pull it late game and you managed to stick a Vexing Devil then you can make it a 7/6 flyer. Not to easy to deal with. There might be better cards but i only know Standard so thats the best i got. hope it helps!

Wwwskyler says... #14

yea i was thinking about herald he was probobly what i was going to use unless i found something else

NerdPounder says... #15

I probably wouldn't recommend Herald of Torment in modern... just gets outclassed by a Tarmogoyf.

well than what do you recommend corythackston

NerdPounder says... #17

Not replacing master of the feast. Or maybe Liliana OTV if you can afford her

Well I'm just looking for something to keep in the sideboard to put over master in situations where I don't want them to draw cards

November 4, 2014 9:08 p.m.

...You never want them to draw cards.

November 4, 2014 9:14 p.m.

Wwwskyler says... #20

Yea I know but I think letting them draw like two cards is worth me dealing 10 damage to them but there is certain decks that you especially don't want drawing cards like control or combo decks but people playing a lot of creatures I don't really care if they draw cards because I can just remove them and so on

Ashenmoor Gouger is close enough to a master of the feast, and Avatar of Discord is close aswell but can be hit by bolt

November 8, 2014 9:37 a.m.

Wwwskyler says... #22

Not a fan of the avatar because it's easily removed and it forces me to throw away answers but I do like the ashenmoor gouger

Goblin Guide is a great creature for putting through damage in the early game, and Blood Crypt, Bloodstained Mire, and Graven Cairns are all super good lands worth playing in any BR deck. Also maybe try Rakdos Charm in the sideboard, since it can hose Tarmogoyfs and reanimator strategies, and kill them if they make infinite creatures with Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker or Splinter Twin, and hits artifacts against affinity. hope you find my comment helpful, and I like your deck, +1 from me.
