Maybeboard

It's table flipping fun.

The goal is to play Enter the Infinite and win with Master the Way. The traditional Laboratory Maniac instant win variation is also possible, but that is just a safety measure and our last resort. It's so much more fun to blast everyone individually!

Ideally, we want Omniscience on the board before we cast Enter the Infinite. Otherwise we most likely will have to wait a turn to cast it which is very risky.

Once we have our library in hand and Omniscience in play, we need to restock our library a little bit so that we don't lose by milling ourselves with Master the Way. We can do this with Learn from the Past or putting Kozilek, Butcher of Truth into our graveyard. This is fairly easy, we can use Shreds of Sanity to discard him, or simply cast and counter him. He will hit the graveyard before his "draw four" ability resolves, so there is little risk of decking ourselves. If for some reason we cannot restock our library, another option is to keep casting Blue Sun's Zenith for 0.

Now that we have a dozen or so cards back in our library, we cast Master the Way and blast our first victim. Then we use any of the following to cast it again; Mystic Retrieval, Shreds of Sanity, Volcanic Vision, Snapcaster Mage, or even popping Metallurgic Summonings. We also have Fateful Showdown that can be used to blast the final opponent.

Of course we can also win by drawing lots of cards with Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind in play. This takes longer, but we can really speed up the process if we happen to get Psychosis Crawler on the board. Since we should already have a large amount of cards in hand, the best cards to combo with these creatures are Fateful Showdown, Tolarian Winds, and Soratami Seer. Not to mention Wheel of Fortune and the other several similar cards are also good!

When we aren't comboing off, we should still be making everyone at the table utterly miserable. And nothing does that better than bounce spells! I think we'd all rather just have our board wiped than having to spend the next several turns recasting the same cards. Well, too bad. Our "defense" consists of; AEtherspouts, Cyclonic Rift, Evacuation, Devastation Tide, Inundate, Wash Out, and Whelming Wave for mass bounce. Volcanic Vision isn't bounce, but it gets the job done with almost the same amount of salt.

Extra salty combos include: Wheel and Deal + Plagiarize. I don't like you sir, please discard your hand and I'll draw 8.

Epic Experiment hitting Cerebral Vortex and any combination of Wheel of Fortune, Reforge the Soul, and/or Wheel and Deal. Having Magus of the Jar in play also works. Easily hits somebody for 10 damage or higher.

Omniscience + Tidespout Tyrant. That's just unfair.

I wish I could Quicken a Day's Undoing to effectively Time Stop somebody, but I guess wizards wanted to be the fun police because Day's Undoing only ends the turn if it's the owner's turn. Boo.

I think that covers it. Comments and up-votes are always appreciated. Spread the love! <3
