Here is my go at bug walkers. I don't know that there is necessarily anything in here that separates my list from others out there, but i really really wanted to see what it was like to play a (mostly) plainswalker deck. Here's the breakdown:
Thoughtseize - this card does most of its work before turn 3 or mid to late game when i've stabilized and the opponent still has cards in hand.
Cyclonic Rift - running this over
Disperse
because of overload capabilities.
Ratchet Bomb - have this as a singleton for breaking Detention Sphere as well as tokens created with Elspeth.
Abrupt Decay - kills most 3cmc cards, uncounterable..heck yes!
Golgari Charm - stops early aggro thangs AND with the amount of enchantment critters out there it's just as good if not better than Doom Blade.
Far / Away - as a singleton. Great card, but i feel like too often it rots in my hand while i wait for it to be able to hit 2 targets.
Gaze of Granite - solid board wipe for dire situations.
Hero's Downfall hard removal when i need it and keeps other walkers from showing up to the party.
Dissolve helps fix my draws and counters things detrimental to my well being.
Courser of Kruphix - this guy does alot of work, helps me get to the cards i need, rejuvenates me ever so slightly and is a solid blocker. He's usually not lookin for a fight.
Now for the big dogs:
AEtherling resolve him and the end is probably near.
Kiora, the Crashing Wave - love this card. +1 solves my mutavault woes/ keeps other walkers safe. Ult. goes off more times than i would ever have expected. 9/9 krakens are no joke.
Jace, Architect of Thought - +1 really messes up aggro decks and his -2 helps me find answers
Vraska the Unseen - she's really just here for her -3 ability, great spot removal, i have yet to do her ult..
Jace, Memory Adept - win con or worst case scenario, lets me fish for cards.
Ashiok, Nightmare Weaver - win con, comes out early and is great for some early disruption. if i can get his ult off while they still have a hand...even better!
Thats it. Thoughts, comments, questions, are all welcome!
