Thanks! I considered that, but the 3 mana spot on my curve is pretty full (1/4 of the deck!), and Liliana's Caress deals damage (almost) twice as fast.

I'd run Notion Thief over Dream Salvage. the synergy with the 14 hand-reload cards you're running is brutal. Given your curve and the mutiplayer environment, i'd run 3 of them go down to 23 lands.
I'd also run 4 Fog Banks instead of 3. Anyone/everyone playing against this deck in a FFA is going to throw some serious hate your way.

Sorry, I take that back. You clearly want their hands to reload most of the time. 1 Notion Thief could be useful late game for grinding out a win, but i'd probably stick the Dream Salvage.
nice deck btw.

brcap thanks for the comments. I think you may have inadvertently inspired me to design a deck around Notion Thief! It would certainly use a lot of the same cards.
Jaathik Thanks for the suggestion. Really the idea here is to get into a loop of getting draws and mana from Waste Not to drop more table discarding/table draw, killing with Liliana's Caress or Abyssal Nocturnus. You'll note that I only have 2 cmc4 cards in the deck and none higher, specifically to increase the odds of doing this sooner so my opponents can't react by ganging up to beat me down. As it stands now, this deck (with a lucky draw) can beat a 4-player table on turn 3-4.

You might want to look at Treasure Cruise or Dig Through Time to keep your hand full for cheap

LOL If I can't keep my hand full with this deck in a multiplayer game, I probably shouldn't be playing Magic.

the more i look at it, the more i think Abyssal Nocturnus and Jace's Phantasm should be replaced by Hero's Downfall and Negate.

brcap I think you were right about this deck attracting aggro and adjusted accordingly. Should get to try it out tomorrow!

Lower Dark Deal to a 3-of, raise Whispering Madness to a 3-of, and cut your Fog Banks for Dimir Infiltrators, as he can tutor a fair amount of the deck and is RIDICULOUS with a ciphered Madness.
Also, cut Waste Not. While in multiplayer, I've played a similar build and it is totally underwhelming to play it just to have it removed. I'd much rather play Megrim, as you'll double your chances of running into a Caress-esque spell.

Also, you need a little interaction with your opponents. Perplex is the spell to have.

TwerkForSubway thanks for the suggestions!
Dimir Infiltrator will definitely make it in next revision. Since it can tutor for Caress, it is absolutely perfect.
I see what you're saying about Waste Not, and while I'm unlikely to cut it completely, I'll certainly drop it down to 2-of or 3-of.
Dark Deal is mostly only in at all because it's the only discard/draw effect that doesn't require blue, so when I lower Waste Not, Dark Deal is sure to follow.
I should probably find room for a bit of removal as well.

Great concept. Love the deck. The only suggestion I have is maybe some Underworld Dreams somewhere. +1
