Pictured, the least threatening thing in the deck.
This deck was born from the fusion of my decks built to achieve the Overkill and Life to Spare achievements from Forge. I don't pretend this is usable against any deck which isn't Islands (or similar). This is just an experiment to see which is the most damage dealable in a single turn. And it's ALL done with 1/1 creatures.
Start by casting your
Furnace of Rath
s and then your
Copy Enchantment
s. The next 1/1 creature that attacks, will deal 256 damage. Thats more than ten times your starting life in Constructed. Pretty neat for a common game, but unimpressive in comparisson of the following.
Cast a single
Soul's Attendant
, then all of your
Rhox Faithmender
s and
Clone
them, for a total of 128 lives. Then cast the rest of your Attendants, for another 3840 lives (totaling 3968 gained since the beginning). From now, each creature that is casted on this battlefield will yield 1024 lives. Over fifty times your initial life, and twice the digits. That's really impressive, but still not God Awesome impressive.
Finally, cast your
Storm Herd
s. Supposing everything goes according to plan, and that your opponent doesn't try to ruin the fun, the first one will create 3988 tokens for 4,083,712 lives; the second one, 4,087,700 tokens and 4,185,804,800 lives; the third one, 4,189,892,500 tokens and 4,290,449,920,000 lives; the fourth (but not last ;)) one, 4,294,639,812,500 tokens and 4,397,711,168,000,000 lives!!!. Alpha attack with this godstorm of pegasus/es/i(?) to obliterate your opponent with (4 trillion tokens * 256 from the Furnaces) 1,099,427,792 million damage.
Oh, yes, and
Emrakul, the Aeons Torn
is here to help us not commit suicide by milling. There's no need to send this little guy to the bloodshed (although if you did, you'd deal an extra 3,840 damage). In fact, it can help you retrieve your used card:Storm Herds, and infinitely improve your damage yield!
So the questin is, which is the earliest turn you could get to do over a googol damage with this deck?
