Want to use Oloro's life gain ability to your full advantage and have all the possible life? Yes please!

So the best ability about Oloro, Ageless Ascetic is not only that you get to life, but you get to gain life WHILE he is in the command zone. Who doesn't like that? The better thing about Oloro is once he is out you can still gain life and then make your opponent lose command damage by just one simple colorless mana AND draw a card all before your draw step.

So all cards for this deck have been hand picked to complement Oloro's fun abilities (especially the one where you get to keep drawing cards).

The best combination would be to get Exquisite Blood and Sanguine Bond out for an infinite combo. Now sometimes this isn't possible, but if you have half of the pair you can do a search with Diabolic Tutor , Lim-Dul's Vault , or Increasing Ambition for the second half. Again, that is the ideal combination and not fully necessary to win.

This deck can be fun in another ways. Lets say you have Ajani, Caller of the Pride out. Keep using his +1 ability on some creature you want to buff up until you can get either to 8 or 9 loyalty counters on him. If you get to 8 just beware to use his ultimate he will, unfortunately, die. So you do that, you hold off your opponent with a series of blockers such as: Hundred-Handed One (who said 99 problems is bad), Wall of Denial , Wall of Reverence , Serene Master , etc. etc. Any creature will do so long you can get to Ajani's -8 ability. Once at that crucial moment, do it! All that life gain has pulled off. Next thing you know you have 70 (or more!) 2/2 cat creature tokens ready to swing your next turn.

Now in order to deal with some hairy situations as you're gaining life, trying to get Oloro out and any combinations you want to happen you can use board wipes, removing permanents, and countering spells. Some that come in handy are: Terminus , Supreme Verdict , Planar Cleansing , etc.
