Hi! I'm personally constructing a more budget-friendly Teysa myself and was wondering:
- Are there any options for a more budget-friendly protection package?
- Is it worth it to run tutors such as Diabolic Intent and the aforementioned Sidisi, Undead Vizier if I am already running a large card draw package?
- Divine Visitation ?
- Is Open the Armory valuable enough if I am playing clamp?
Great list!

In response to your questions HyperViper191:
-
Elixir of Immortality , True Believer , and Swiftfoot Boots are fairly cheap. Lightning Greaves is also fairly easy to get your hands on since it come in pretty much every commander Precon.
-
Tutors can never hurt if you want to go that route, card draw and finding key pieces are always relevant (I just don't run many tutors for personal reasons).
-
If you create a lot of tokens and your deck is more token based then include Divine Visitation ! In token heavy Teysa decks it can be really powerful.
-
Open the Armory is perfectly viable. You could also run more equipment like Blade of the Bloodchief if you wanted to go that route.
If you have any more questions feel free to ask! I'm also working on a more budget build using cards from my collection, so when I finish I'll let you know if you want to see it. I'm glad you like the deck!

Thank you so much for the answers Darkshadow327!
Budget Deathharmonicon Tokeristocrats is my current list. I need to make some cuts and slight trims before I complete the list in paper. Any suggestions for additions and cuts would be greatly appreciated!

Really interested in making this deck! Been wanting to make an orzhov deck again and this looks like a blast. What would your thoughts be on adding cards like Contamination and Phyrexian Altar ?

I'm glad you like the deck Abort_Me_Senpai! (also, sorry it took so long to comment, been busy over the summer)
It is a way fun deck to play, Teysa is a blast! I've thought about Phyrexian Altar in the past, it is definitely a good card. However, I haven't included it because I do like to keep the competitiveness of the deck a little lower. This is really just personal preference, but if you build the deck i would say include it if you want. While the other two cards are good, I'm personally not a fan since they limit my colors (this deck likes to have white), and limit pulling from my graveyard multiple times. Again, if you build this deck, and want to include them, go for it!

Not nearly enough cards for him to be even close to effective Eloniel. Lurrus is a card that really has to be built around, and I don't run even close to enough 1-2 CMC cards.
Appreciate the idea though!

This deck is seriously well built and amazing, while it doesn't really fit the theme of the deck have you ever thought of adding in Gray Merchant of Asphodel into the deck it could just hit rather hard and gain you a lot of life at once. Have you also considered adding in Crypt Ghast for a little bit of ramp since all of your lands are swamps from Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth

Thanks! It's always nice to hear from a deck-builder more experienced than myself that they think my deck has been built well.
I'd have to look into Gary, but I'm not sure about him. Seems like a worse Kokusho in this deck.
Crypt Ghast is something I have considered multiple times, but I've never been quite sure about it. It does pair really well with Urborg; though I'm not sure how often it would happen since I don't really run tutors.
Thanks again, you've definitely given me some stuff to think about!

Hi, have you considered Boreas Charger, after checking, if it die, Teysa will double it's ability, so we could have a way to ramp 2 land each turn if an opponent is ramping and satisfy our land drop each turn.

That's definitely something to consider, I'll look into it. Thanks!

Looks fun i am trying to go a different way from my current Teysa deck and this seems great. I am wondering how well it performs with so little ramp? I feel like i will get to much behind in my playgroup, but how is your experience with this deck against other decks that is a lot faster with ramping?
Great work :)

It can be a little slow in comparison, but that can be a benefit. Playing online, I have noticed that people tend to focus down Teysa of you build your board quickly. However, I feel it could be easily adjusted to add more mana rocks and stuff like Crypt Ghast!
Glad you like the deck!

Not really synergistic at all but perhaps Verge Rangers for ramp?

Nim Deathmantle isn't in here because it is more of a combo card. To make it really work I would have to buy a section of the deck in order to make it really shine (like the situation mentioned above).
As for card draw and tutors, I highly disagree. I like to play this deck a little slower when I pilot it, so my hand is pretty full at all times. Using tutors is just something I don't want to do. When incorporating tutors the deck becomes more combo centric since I'm searching for something to create a combo with. Honestly, that is just something I don't want to do with the deck.
Skullclamp is in the maybe because some people may want to use it in their meta (as I explained in the Primer the Maybeboard is mainly for people to see what other options could be in the deck), for my piloting technique Skullclamp can be a little too many cards sometimes (I know, call my crazy).
Thanks though!
