I would recommend Privileged Position a one card solution to protect your creatures from spot removal. I myself run avacyn and she is almost always a target of spot removal and counter spells. Best case senario: it and avacyn lock down the board. Worst case it eats up another of your opponents limited answers.

You'll have to replace the Sylvan Primordial ; it was recently banned for EDH.

Whoa, thanks for the heads up brokendwarf. Looks like a slot just opened up for some more BNG goodies...

I'd recommend a Hamletback Goliath . Dude gets nasty cause his ability triggers for any creature.

Here is my Mayael deck, I use a lot more creatures, because every time you use Mayael's ability, you wanna see a creature. I don't have Seedborn Muse in it yet, as I am ordering cards for my modern monoblack deck as well. But all the cards listed in the deck I own, except for Xenagos, God of Revels I believe.
You can check out my Mayael EDH deck below :)
Also, @brokendwarf Hamletback Goliath is a nice card, but its setback is it doesn't have trample.

Darksteel Colossus -> Blightsteel Colossus ? or do Bribery /Acquire effects run rampant in your meta?

KindredDiscovery says... #8
@YerpyMoose Blightsteel is better, but I'm just not a fan of infect. He makes it just a little too easy to win after a board wipe. I have the most fun when commander games go for 20+ turns, so cards like him and Iona, Shield of Emeria are left out.

a lot of your cards could be upgraded, your mana base could use some love (if you have the money), and you may want to run some more spot removal (http://www.mtgsalvation.com/forums/the-game/commander-edh/489921-top-50-removal-cards).
I'll playtest against your deck, but I run some pretty cutthroat decks, so I'm not sure how valuable that data will be to you. How well does this deck run in your metagame?

@YerpyMoose The deck is the most powerful in my meta right now, but my meta is pretty casual. I would like to improve my mana base, but I've put as much money into it as I want right now. I'm very satisfied with my suite of 5 power creatures and I think the ratio is about right (her ability hits 80% of the time, and the odds get better every time you fetch a land). Still, I'm always interested in suggestions. Which cards could be upgraded? What would you take out to slot in some spot removal?
@tyforthevenom I run Sol Ring in every other commander deck I have, but this deck is somewhat unique. In my mind, Sol Ring becomes a worse and worse draw as the game progresses. So what is it good for? Explosive plays in the early game, getting your 4 and 5 drops out ahead of schedule. Look at my 4 and 5 drops though. They're mostly board wipes, which are most useful in the mid to late game. It was a tough decision, but I took my Ring out long ago for Sakura-Tribe Elder . He provides two function that the Ring can not: 1) It thins my library, increasing the odds of Mayael finding a fatty and 2) gives me an early game blocker, which this deck is severely lacking. I'm not arguing that Sol Ring isn't amazing, it's just that this deck doesn't get anywhere near the value out of it that other decks can.

I don't much like the inclusions of most of your ramp suite. Cultivate , Kodama's Reach , Harrow , Recross the Paths , Peregrination , etc. I prefer Nature's Lore /Three Visits (especially with the ABUR duals and shocklands) three visits is a bit expensive moneywise tho. Skyshroud Claim is a great, cheap pickup. More fetches would help manawise, with mayael activations, with Oracle of Mul Daya , et cetera.
Shield of the Oversoul ... wut.
All i have off the top of my head... wait, Exploration /Burgeoning /Azusa, Lost but Seeking /Crucible of Worlds . There we go.

Nature's Lore and Skyshroud Claim are great. They'll be on my short list to acquire. Three Visits , the Top, fetches, etc are nice but out of my price range. Crucible of Worlds has little relevance without fetches, particularly since my playgroup frowns upon land destruction.
Peregrination is on the chopping block, soon to be removed. Scry is amazing here, but not good enough on this card to keep it in. Will probably replace it with Nature's Lore.
Shield of the Oversoul is in playtesting and has been working well, but my hope is to replace it with a Darksteel Plate in the near future.
Cultivate is not to be underestimated. It nets 2 cards, ramps, sets up your next land play...there's just not anything else that does everything it can for 3 cmc. There's a reason that after 4 printings it's still hovering over a dollar. Recross the Paths is not as good, but it gets nonbasics (untapped!) and I almost always get multiple uses out of it. They're both staples and they won't be coming out anytime soon.
As for the curve...yea. It's an ongoing adjustment. You should have seen it when I started. More of a wall than a curve. :)

My problem with the cultivate effects isn't that they are ramp, it's that they're at the awkward hollow that comes up when ramping 2cmc rampers put an extra land, letting you sit pretty at 4 the next turn. Plus, they compete with your general for whether or not to be cast.
Use your one drop slot more efficiently!!! BoP, crop rotation, argh!!! Removal!
I highly recommend Swords to Plowshares
to compliment that path. For space to slot in removal, try taking out some of the wraths. You're running excess and it'll clog up your hand, deck and curve. Plus, they're absolutely dead against pure combo or combo/control (although they are great against the newer tempo decks like derevi and prosh).
I ran my newest toy, Worldgorger, and your deck got out a non-hasty kozilek (off mayael) before WG combo'd out. WG was seriously mana screwed that entire game, and yet Mayael wasn't able to start the deal, let alone seal it.
So, watch out for combo and control. You may want to run some maindeck hate cards like Aven Mindcensor and Stranglehold . You also benefit when these are played against you, as you really aren't tutoring for much besides lands early. Mayael pulls her weight.

Is this a french commander deck? I just noticed that you do not have Sol Ring in here, and was wondering if you played this by that ban list.

Not exactly sure what you are looking for, but here are some other suggestions. Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger , Blightsteel Colossus , Recycle --possibly best green draw engine, right up there with greater good, Time of Need , Green Sun's Zenith , Natural Order , Land Tax , Swiftfoot Boots
Mayael is just so powerful, and has so much you can do. Part of me wishes I had gone with her as my commander when I started. I went with the legends I already had though.

I realize this is practically blasphemy, but I don't think Sol Ring has a place in every deck. I've played with it in here before, but it honestly doesn't pull that much weight in this build. Yea, every once in a while you get to drop a threat early, but that's what Mayael is supposed to be doing anyway. I find I get a lot more value out of cards that make the deck more consistent than I do out of cards that make it faster (see Wall of Blossoms vs Sakura-Tribe Elder . I suppose part of that might be my meta, though.
Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger and Blightsteel Colossus are undeniably bombs, but I choose not to play them because I feel they usually make games less fun. Same goes for Iona, Shield of Emeria . In a more competitive environment I can see their merit, but they just don't have a place in my playgroup.
Tutors are another personal exclusion. Nothing against them really, I just find it more fun to filter my topdecks with cards like Crystal Ball or Oracle of Mul Daya and let Mayael do the tutoring.
Now, on to the good stuff. I love Land Tax ! It's on my list to acquire, and will certainly have a place in this deck if I ever get my hands on one. Swiftfoot Boots is another great card that I'm working on cycling into the deck. Recycle certainly has merit, but the art is just so inexcusably bad that I can't bring myself to play it. Pity it's on the reserved list...

Pretty much every white aggro deck should play Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite . She's pricey, but she's worth it. Having her enter the board will outright kill pretty much any wienie deck. I would also suggest a Sun Titan to bring back some of your cheaper support cards, possibly even your commander if you opt to put her in the graveyard. And even though this is a muscle deck, a properly timed Assemble the Legion and Privileged Position can really mess up your opponent's momentum.
