Godsire , Aurelia, the Warleader , Regal Force .
I know you said you didn't like tutors, but with Worldly Tutor you can put something on top at instant speed and immediately hit it with Mayael's ability.
I'm also not convinced that Karametra, God of Harvests is justified in this deck, as you have to cast the creature and Mayael's ability doesn't net you a land with her out.

Thanks for the comments everyone!
@AtticusLynch & tyforthevenom: Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite is obviously amazing. However, I don't want to just be playing Naya goodstuff here. A 7-drop that Mayael can't grab had better synergize damn well, and I just don't see it in Elesh Norn.
I do like the Sun Titan idea though. I have so much of my utility at 3 mana or less, some recursion is definitely warranted.
Privileged Position has been on my not-so-short list to acquire for quite some time.
@TrevHulkC: Quicksilver Amulet is good, but it doesn't quite make the cut here. I've focused on making it so fatties rarely end up in your hand, which sort of limits the amulet's usefulness. I'm sure in other Mayael builds the card is a super star.
@ChargingBadger & UpsetYoMama: Mirari's Wake will probably replace Karametra, God of Harvests at some point. Karametra is great some games, other times she's just a big body. The variance is just too high for me to consider her a real key player in the deck. Nothing quite seems to fill the void Primeval Titan left behind...sigh.
Aurelia, the Warleader would be a shoe-in if Mayael could fetch her. Godsire is merely beef. Granted, it's an enormous amount of beef, but typically I like my creatures to be a little more than that. Regal Force is certainly good, but this deck lacks ways to truly abuse him. I feel bad about underutilizing cards, especially expensive ones.

What about Scourge of the Throne over Aurelia, the Warleader , then? Mayael hits him and a potential extra combat as well.

Hmmm...I must playtest. I really like that these extra combat effects help you catch up quickly if you've had a slow start (which is always a potential problem here).

Blasphemous Act synergizes well with Vigor and should be a game ender

@swkelly89 I like Blasphemous Act a lot. It's been in and out of the deck over the years--and yes, I have pulled off the Magical Christmas Land play with Vigor :). It's currently not in the deck because I was having issues with the curve (variable cost spells can be difficult to evaluate in that regard), but now that things are a little more smoothed out it will probably be rotating back in.

What do you think of Mirri's Guile ? It's usually worse than Sylvan Library and Sensei's Divining Top, but in this deck I think it's better Crystal Ball as a library manipulation effect.
Also, how is Explorer's Scope working out for you? It just doesn't seem worth it to me in a deck that won't be swinging until later in the game, and I can't imagine it getting a spot over Sakura-Tribe Elder , Sol Ring , Nature's Lore , or a more expensive but powerful ramp spell like Xenagos, The Reveler , Garruk Wildspeaker , Into the Wilds .

@hawk1113: A big part of what makes this deck run smoothly is controlling what the top cards of your library are. You don't want to draw your fatties, but you also don't want Mayael's ability to whiff. For the purposes of meeting those goals, there really is no better card than Crystal Ball . I really do like Mirri's Guile , and it is on my short list to acquire.
Explorer's Scope is not in the deck for ramp purposes. It is like a miniature version of Oracle of Mul Daya and Courser of Kruphix , and those cards are valuable because they increase the odds of Mayael finding a fatty in the top 5. The scope works okay, but I would not be opposed to replacing it with another 1 drop that manipulates the top card of your library--like Mirri's Guile :)

Like the deck! Looks solid, as another option maybe a Burnished Hart instead of Chromatic Lantern it gets you another blocker and I think you'll be fine without all your lands having all colors.
August 17, 2014 8:57 a.m.
Whoops meant Opaline Unicorn . Burnished Hart is not a good replacement... Whoops...

@Nagaram I think youre right about not needing Chromatic Lantern , but I'm not crazy about the unicorn. Gonna try a Darksteel Ingot in its place because my mana rocks are popular removal targets. Thanks for the input!

This was an excellent write up! This deck looks like it would be a lot of fun to play (either with or against). I'd love to see a deck like this in my local group. Great job

The greatest problem that I tried to fix in my Mayael' deck, is the dependence of Mayael. So I used cards Sneak Attack like and Lurking Predators . They are really great in this deck.

Thanks travelingpseudonym! The deck has been my baby for a few years now and is a favorite in my play group.
@Junqueira It really can be finicky finding a good balance for Mayael. I've opted to include a lot of deck-thinning like Realms Uncharted , topdeck filtering like Crystal Ball , and a few oddballs like Rings of Brighthearth to really help maximize the probability of her finding a big creature. I do like Lurking Predators and Sneak Attack (in fact, Predators was in the deck for a while), but they just haven't fit the way I play the deck recently.
August 28, 2014 2:57 a.m.
Yeeah. This deck really allows you to play in different ways. And I really likes that you chosen the "probabilistic way".I just would find it cool to develop an algorithm that took into account the deck thinning...

I don't know much Commander decks, but I think Spearbreaker Behemoth could work here, as an alternative option to Avacyn, Angel of Hope . Just a thought. Cool deck, though.

In a deck as dependent on beating down with creatures as this, I wonder how having that many wraths has worked for you?
I also am wondering, what are your thoughts on Mirari's Wake ?
Doom_of_Valyria says... #1
I agree with the Privileged Position suggestion, it great against those creature removal spells. Also, it doesn't really make the game any less fun. One card I like to run in this deck is Bow of Nylea , the graveyard recycler is awesome. There's been those games where I'm getting mana-boned and had to discard my Avacyn, or sacrifice a fatty, etc... And the now allows me to pluck up the four best cards each turn and get them back into my library. The other effects are nice too.
