Here is the list we found. We usually pick a couple different ones each time we play, and sometimes we add our own.

I think I'll replace Gemstone Caverns , Homeward Path , and Reliquary Tower for the Ravnica bounce lands. Those 3 utility lands do the least for me.

I have found that naya is super strong yet the main disadvantage is card draw... i like garruk for that reason. He is in my Mayael deck to keep the deck running, along with other cards like regal force and sylvan library.

Yeah playtesting with him has been great, so I made a trade for one.

I totally agree that card draw is a disadvantage to our colors. Though the great thing about Mayael that I think some people forget is that with enough topdeck manipulation, she generates card advantage with her ability. I've been looking for a Regal Force to include, but I've had no luck finding one.

why do you run Rings of Brighthearth? the only thing i see it working well with is godsire. or is it so good i should be getting one?

Rings can be used to copy any activated ability, so yes Godsire but also Birthing Pod , planeswalkers and of course Mayael the Anima

What he said, but some more awkward ones that have occurred before are:

Rings of Brighthearth + Krosan Verge or Rings of Brighthearth + Sensei's Divining Top 's tap ability.

How do you feel about Novablast wurm? especially with a tooth and nail for Avacyn and Novablast wurm.

I used to appreciate a good Novablast Wurm even by itself, but Balefire Dragon and Steel Hellkite serve the same roles, while being versatile as dragons, easier to hardcast, and affecting only my opponents board.

just curious. why don't you use a Mirri's Guile ? I've found it just as good as a top.

I've never felt it was worth going out to trade for or buy. It's effect is strong, but it doesn't do the same things as Sylvan Library , Sensei's Divining Top , or Scroll Rack .

Sylvan Library can draw me the extra cards.

Sensei's Divining Top can do it whenever I have the mana, and can trade itself for the top card of my deck if I decide I need it more than the Top.

Scroll Rack let's me dig reeeeaaalllllly deep if I get stuck with a large hand of uncastable fat, or for an extra mana I can drop a fatty from my hand at instant speed with Mayael.

For those reasons beyond just the ability, I chose to leave it out. Also it's not as handy late game as the other 3.

I'm just curious, what role does Sun Titan play in this deck, other than being a big body?

He is mainly there for recursion. Things like Sylvan Library , Sensei's Divining Top , and Scroll Rack are very powerful as described above, and my opponents rarely let me keep them or they quickly lose. Sun Titan let's me get them back. I've also used his trigger to get that extra bit of damage in when going in for a kill, sacing Fires of Yavimaya multiple times in a turn.

The deck is going to have some changes coming up, because some of the deck was damaged in an accident.

2nd. I think Tempt with Discovery is a great card after i was able to get four lands with it due to three others searching as well. This was able to help me get Mayael the Anima faster. Overall the card does work.

2nd. That's pretty much what I was thinking and you confirmed it. Besides since I run some LD on bodies I'm not really worried about what they get. Lands are OP lol.

I'm still working on some changes to the lands, but do you guys think that the Urza lands could make the cut again since I can run Sylvan Scrying and Tempt with Discovery ?

When it comes to the lands, i feel like they could be situationilly good. that being said, would you rather have a card that is consistently good or a situationilly good card?

what are your thoughts on this card. Fiery Justice

I put this card in and i used it in a game... took out a Rafiq of the Many and another creature. i feel as thought a 3 mana burn spell for 5 is quiet good.

Fiery Justice is a great versatile card, but I'm just not a fan of one time effects unless it is the best at what it does. e.g. Path to Exile The 5 life to an opponent does seem fun when playing politics.

what happened to your deck?

Someone got careless, and spilled Mountain Dew on it :(. I was kinda mad, but hey whatever they're just cards, and were easily replaced.

Yeah I've never run Elvish Piper , because I don't like how easily removed it is. And I actually run out of a hand a lot XD.

I would like to let everyone know Tempt with Discovery is Wizard's gift to green to make up for Primeval Titan 's unjust banning lol. Let me regale you with a tale.

I played in a 6 man game with a starting hand of Exploration , Sol Ring , Explosive Vegetation , Tempt with Discovery , Akroma's Memorial , Forest , Kessig Wolf Run .

T1 draw Worldly Tutor , play Forest , Cast Exploration , play Kessig Wolf Run , cast Sol Ring . End turn.

T2 draw Boros Garrison , play Tempt with Discovery everyone gets a land so I got 6, Urza's Tower Urza's Power Plant Urza's Mine Eye of Ugin Command Tower and Saltcrusted Steppe , cast Explosive Vegetation get a Plains and Mountain , play Boros Garrison pick up Command Tower then play it again.

This was by far the most explosive start I've ever had. Starting turn 3 I had 17 mana to work with, and soon after people were copying Tempt with Discovery out of my GY lol.

Ouch. Very nice.

what about Inferno Titan ? xD i think he is great
