The Mayael list I've been distilling since 2013. I have loved the card since I saw it, and as my first commander, this deck will always have a special place in my heart. As my playgroup got more powerful, I worked very hard to increase the power level of this deck, and after many hours spent over the years scouring the internet and hundreds of others lists, I decided my goal was to create and maintain the most powerful Mayael deck that graced the land. No fun-ofs, no jank, just the pure distillation of the intersection between Timmy and Spike. While this deck is still only at most an 8/10, I believe this is the perfect distillation (according to my meta) of this deck. I make slight changes as meta evolves, but this is it.

This will always be a work of progress, and we've had some big changes recently ( Iona, Shield of Emeria being banned and replaced with Apex Altisaur being the foremost ). I'm hoping to maintain a primer in the future, but we'll see how that goes. Feel free to comment, and thanks for the views!
