A fun to play, and very powerful Commander deck I've been tuning for a while.

Goals of This Deck:

1. Activate Mayael as early and often as possible.
2. Play with splashy ETB effects and big stompy monsters.
3. Cheat big creatures out of the hand and graveyard too.

Primal Surge Shenanigans - Add Primal Surge , of course. - Swap some (but not all) instants and sorceries out for Enchantments or Creatures with similar ETB effects. You probably want the Surge to stop eventually, so keep at least 2-3 non-permanents. - Ramp with mana rocks, enchantments, and/or mana dorks instead of Rampant Growth type effects. ( Land Tax may also work here if we aren't ramping with lands anymore) - Focus on dumping a board on the table that can definitely immediately kill all of your opponents (Haste enablers, overrun effects, Thundermare , etc.). See the "More Aggressive" heading above.

Personal Commander Rules

- No creatures with Annihilator. - Don't stop everyone from having fun. - Tutors make deck design less flexible, and win conditions too linear. Use them sparingly.

Some Relevant Notes:

• Vehicles don't have a power or a toughness unless they become creatures, so they don't work with Mayael's activated ability.
• Enchantment Creatures like Theros gods do count as creatures outside of the battlefield.
