Green black seems open... this pack offers man options....
Bronzebeak Moa
Rot Farm Skeleton
Drown in Filth
Hired Torturer
Orzhov Guildgate
All seem like real possibilities.
It would appear that the time may be neigh to consider a 3rd color. It would appear that red is closed, and that green is wide open and has been fairly prevalent in both green white and green black.

+1 orzhov guildgate, its good fixing and allows an easier splash of another color

It has been brought to my attention that by visiting the "recent comments" portion of any team members page that all of our comments on our draft page can be read. I have asked that the mods look into this and see what if anything can be done... but perhaps we need to consider a different method of communication... or perhaps we just grin and bear it and hope that others don't cheat too badly....

+1 Sinister Possession. It seems like the best choice here. Bronzebeak Moa would be my second choice.

+1 Rot Farm Skeleton
I'm tempted to grab the guildgate simply because it's something we know we'd mainboard. Anything splashy is suspect.

+1 Rot Farm Skeleton
I like the idea of being able to continually bring him back to deal 4 dmg over and over to our enemies! Guildgate is also tempting but i believe that this skeleton is going to be very hard for an opponent to deal with similarly the Moa. but i like always having 4 dmg better than some times having 5 neither are likely to block so the can't block thing doesn't seem to matter as much.
Sinister Possession i feel is a trap card and not worth picking up. It is problematic mostly because it causes the opponent to be able to choose when and if they suffer from the ability. And it means they will just likely hold the creature back until we have something better than 2 dmg that they will then chump it with.

possession sucks, it is never playable, pickup a guildgate now, everyone is assuming that fixing is guaranteed but it won't be. the other cards are fringe-playable and we don't even know our splash, trust me.

+1 Orzhov Guildgate
I still think we don't need to be that greedy to take Moa or the Skeleton. Those are not cards that make you like "Yaaay, I'm splashing that!". So why chase them now... The guildgate is a safe pick and a guaranteed mainboard as SupremeAlliesCommander has said.
Posession is no good. Maybe on a 1/1, but on a 2/2 it's already bad. Aggressive decks can easily ignore it, trade 2 damage to us for 2 damage to them and don't really care.

I am loathe to give up on the Rot Farm Skeleton as i believe he is almost a bomb all on his own. Plus we have seen a fair bit of green in combo with both black and white. that being said i have no problem picking up the color fixing land.

I really don't know about the Skeleton. I can see his potential in a scavenge deck but that would require cards from RTR which won't be here. I've never seen him in play actually. I don't think it's a bad pick all in all. I just feel safer with the gate.

I just realized there's only one scavenge card in Dragon's Maze - Thrashing Mossdog. So, yeah, maybe the guildgate is the best bet. I have no problem with playing BWG as our color set. Another Putrefy would be great! However, the Skeleton probably isn't the best card in those colors.
-1 Skeleton
+1 Guildgate
As a side note, Possession is only good if you combine it with something else. Your opponent will just use it to chump a big critter. It's not Stab Wound.

+1 Guildgate
The skeleton wants us to be aggressive and I don't really see that happening with this format. The fixing will be good guaranteed.
I think BWG is a solid colour choice, but the green we've seen so far has been OK, but not super exciting.

Was Blue cut heavily in the last few packs? This pack seems light, but that flyer isn't a bad creature.

good news all! we have had our comments here protected from showing up so we should not have to worry any longer about them being posted in our streams for recent comments! Yay!!!
Also it would appear that we may be in the clear to resume linking cards again. Going to test it out now Lightning Bolt

Yup ok appears we are in the clear everyone feel confident now in linking in posts once again. So glad that yeaGO! was able to fix this issue for us.
And just because i can Orzhov Guildgate
looks like it is going to be the pick.
June 27, 2013 6:15 p.m.
Get our fixing now, and later we'll be free to pick whatever bombs we see.

I'm remembering the last DDD. Several of KC's losses came when we had mana problems. Screw and flood will happen no matter what. That's just the luck of the draw. However, we can prevent color issues by not relying on the last round to get our lands.
June 28, 2013 11:22 a.m.
SupremeAlliesCommander, I agree with what you said, but to be fair, there is like twice as much fixing in this format as the last one. Though, we do get greater benefits from it in the form of the gatekeepers.

ok + 1 Fatal Fumes
Time to pick up some removal.
other option is
Sunspire Gatekeepers which is amazing with lots of gates.. sorta ho hum w/ out them. while the removal is always good.
June 28, 2013 12:09 p.m.
Overall a bad pack. Fatal Fumes is a reasonable choice, but I think we'll have a better chance of mainboarding the gatekeeper. And there will be lots of gates him.

+1 Fatal Fumes , I don't think we can afford to let this one slip.

+1 Fatal Fumes . One of the reasons I voted against it last time is that I knew we'd see more later, and here we are.

Sent in our pick and now am trying to get people to move themselves along to see if we can get to the next pack more quickly.... already being misunderstood by one player.
