Nice deck! I'd consider more cards which generate and profit from +1 / +1 counters. When you look at Mazirek, he does not cause sacrifices. His only effect is to add +1 / +1 counters to your creatures. So you want redundancy of this effect and you also want to profit from it.

The manabase might also benefit from more lands which sacrifice themselves. Examples:
and maybe a way to get those back, like Crucible of Worlds and Life from the Loam

Added some MAJOR updates to the deck. I would like to focus on making this an attrition based, token/sacrifice deck. Cards that eat away at peoples boards/hands are what I'm trying to go for.

/blinks at annihilator 2 that gets you cards... lol
Naw, I get what you mean.

I want to throw him in, I'm just not sure how yet. I really want to focus on STAX effects that keep my opponents oppressed, and that's going to need a lot of tokens (which I currently have a lack of).

I had that in my first draft, somehow it got removed - it's back now!

Ever hear of a little card called Shirei, Shizo's Caretaker? Well he's shit here. Instead add One with Nothing! No? still not helping? Mabey you can add a Hamster Tribal subtheme!! Wait, that's not even a creature type?! Well why not! they're amazing! I love hamsters! I'm going to go pet hamsters now and leave you with a shitty Lifeline as a ACTUAL suggestion.

- list text hereKorozda Guildmage + Worldspine Wurm gets some pretty good token generating going. Gutter Grime can also have a pretty good out put and gets out of hand fast when left unchecked. I would also suggest Phyrexian Reclamation, Pawn of Ulamog and Creakwood Liege

Responding to your thread over here. You had issues with "not having enough artifact ramp" and I am here to tell you that you don't need those kinds of things.
-Renewal!
-Primal Growth! (It comes in the pre-con, even.)
And if you want "sub-commanders" a few things like Lumberknot and Mortician Beetle make nice additions.

Maybe look at Creakwood Liege for some goos token spawning. Also look at From Beyond: it spawns tokens, you can sacrifice the tokens, and it would let you sacrifice itself (!!!) to fetch an eldrazi which would make your opponents sacrifice even more stuff (you could add Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre or Kozilek, Butcher of Truth). If you also want to fetch, Harrow would be awesome. And why not Titania, Protector of Argoth since you are playing with all the fetches and Crucible of Worlds?

I love From Beyond. I was remembering that card as I was going to sleep last night, and couldn't remember the name of it. Thanks! I think that's going to be an addition for sure. It can fetch It That Betrays which I can use as a combo to gain control of my opponents permanents.
Already have Titania in the deck, but I'm considering throwing in a Ulamog.

Yes! YES! YESSSS!! Finally someone else than me who appreciates Mazierek!
Do you run Phyrexian Dreadnought? Its a 1-drop 12/12 that forces you to sacrifice creatures with total power 12. With Grave Pact and all of the tokens, you effectively make a couple of your creatures 100/100s and all of your opponents sac their creatures.

@Karzald I considered it plenty, but I'm not quite sure if it would be a perfect fit. I have a problem with cards that only have 1 use, or can only be used in a particular scenario. I've added Smothering Abomination, Survival of the Fittest and Deathreap Ritual to the deck, so card draw has gotten significantly better. I'm also looking to make room for Sensei's Divining Top, but I'll add it to the maybelist for now.
@JaceNordark I like Lifeline, but I have a few issues with it. 1) You have to wait until your end step, so it's not abusable in the moment. 2) An opponent can kill it before you declare your end step, possibly ruining your play that you decided to do with it. 3) Every time I play it I'll think of tribal hamsters. I might consider it in my Marchesa or Kresh deck though!
@cconroy1 I know, right?
@nathaniscool2 I also considered it, but I am trying to stay away from the whole black/green reanimator theme. I want a deck that throws people on their backs and confuses the hell out of them. I want them to see my general, and mull their hand down to 3 cards just so they have Leyline of the Void, until they realize my deck doesn't utilize graveyards at all! I'm still considering it, so I'll definitely add it to the maybe list as well.
I KNOW RIGHT?!
Didn't think about using Phyrexian Dreadnought, but that's kinda funny. I knew about it as a combo in Kresh the Bloodbraided but never considered using it here. I don't think I would use it though as I try not to run cards that only work with my general in play. I always assume that my general will not be accessible, or will be killed the turn it comes out - I find this makes my decks more reliable, and EXTREMELY powerful in the scenarios that my general actually gets to stick.

You've already established you can infinitely combo with any Persist creature + your general. So to me it seems like a no brainer to include Cauldron of Souls. That way you can have even more ETB triggers for cards like Avenger of Zendikar, Eternal Witness, Rune-Scarred Demon, Solemn Simulacrum, etc. Sadly, I think the creatures don't have persist again when they come back, so it's not infinite. But it can still trigger every turn, for as many creatures as you want, so I definitely think it's a cool addition.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that instantly thought of the persist combo with this guy. I was really excited about this guy because I used to play a mono black deck that has a Pseudo infinite combo which was Grave Pact (Or any similar effect) + A Free Sac Outlet + Overseer of the Damned to make my opponents sacrifice all non-token creatures they control. Anyway awesome deck.
