Mazzy, Truesword Paladin is a strong and effective commander with Auras, allowing many aura's to be replayed and to produce many consistent ETB and Cast Triggers.

Cost reduction for Enchantments and Auras help speed up the deck and some even provide a little extra. Herald of the Pantheon,card:Transcendant Envoy are good examples. Other Cost reducers are cheap CMC and can be easily played early game. Danitha Capashen, Paragon, Transcendent Envoy, Jukai Naturalist

Card Draw is very reliable in the deck, with many spells that lets you draw when you play Aura's and/or Enchantments. But one of the most effective combos is card:Mazzy, Truesword Paladin + Unbridled Growth Which allows you to draw as many times as you cast Unbridled Growth. Since Unbridled Growth is an enchantment, it can be used as a way to pump Setessan Champion for additional draw and Counters, Archon of Sun's Grace for 2/2 Lifelink Flying tokens, Oath of the Ancient Wood for counters for other creatures, and Sigil of the Empty Throne to produce a board of 4/4 flying angel tokens.

The deck also has ways to protect yourself from threats while making your opponents a larger problem. Cards such as Vow of Lightning, Vow of Duty, Shiny Impetus, and Predatory Impetus will be repeatable with Mazzy on the board when your opponents block. Curses also provide incentive for your opponents to target each other and not send over their creatures at your own board. Darksteel Mutation is just good at stopping problem creatures and again, with Mazzy on Board, can be repeatable. Previous versions of this deck had many more of these auras, but many games proved too many curses cause slowdown of the game.

The deck plays very smoothly, with low CMC costs for most of the deck and with some cost reducers it can effectively be a suitable and fair deck against most opponents.

And just for some amusement, an explosive combo is placed in the deck. It can win the game but is just entirely for amusement. card:Three Blind Mice + Calix, Guided by Fate + Doubling Season If not answered quickly, It will flood the Board with 1/1 tokens from Copying Three Blind Mice and Doubling Season exponentially creating more and more Mice and Doubling Season copies. I have not Self-Destructed through this, but I have come very close through Mandatory Draw from Cards such as Tanglespan Lookout
