Tradeylouish: Was not aware of that. I'll try to get my hands on a playset.
Ruenzor: An excellent suggestion. I'll be making that swap soon.

The flavor text on Thrashing Wumpus pluralizes wumpus to "wumpuses".
That's funny. They spelled it wrong.

I'm referring to Shivan Wumpus specifically, if you're talking about my deck title, twospires.

Also, if this isn't meant to be competitive or format-legal, then how about a couple of Strip Mine s instead of Tectonic Edge ?

@yungxak: I was making a joke. You called it wumpi, they called it wumpuses. Clearly, they're wrong. Wumpi sounds way cooler.

Hey,
Just realized that this is the second deck idea I get from you. Dig your style man.
Made an adaptation of your deck but splashed U instead of B. My deck is here if you care to take a gander La Casa de Veneno. Also, I bought a playset of Strip Mine for 12 bucks on tcg. Cheers.

What does everybody think of Terravore , Mul Daya Channelers , and Tremble ?
March 14, 2014 2:30 p.m.
@yungxak - Terravore is one of my favorite cards in all of magic, I even have a deck built around it, Terravore Land Sac. But, it's not a Wumpus, so up to you to decide if it fits here :)

Came across a fun card today. It's called Worms of the Earth . I figure it'd be a fun finisher that'd certainly get a few scoops.

merrowMania: I left Dingus Egg out because I would prefer the deck's tempo be devoted to blowing up a land at least 3/4 of my turns after turn 2.

I'm just gonna say what everyone is thinking:
But... WHAT THE HELL IS A WUMPUS!?!?!?!?

It's a little weird in a deck with only eight creatures, but Vizier of the Menagerie would be quite cool with wumpus and wurm.
