33 lands seems a little low, especially considering your CMC is over 4 and you curve out at 8.

Mate, you need Mind Grind, Mind Funeral, Sepulchral Primordial, Diluvian Primordial. You also should highly consider running more lands and getting lands that don't come into play tapped. Check out my deck Gonna use your spells n' stuff if you want some ideas because I do alot of milling with my deck.

Also look into Sword of Body and Mind. And more tutors. Like Beseech the Queen, and Mystical Tutor. I apologize if I seem like an ass but I just wanna help a fellow U/B player.

I appreciate the input. Mind Funeral and Mind Grave would both be good additions. I had Diluvian Primordial in this deck for a while but I just never seemed to get anything cool out of my opponents' yards. I'll consider slipping it back in after a few more games. Sepulchral Primordial would be perfect though and I don't know why I don't have one in here already. I also agree that I need more tutors. The ones you suggested are on the higher end of my budget, but what do you think about Dark Petition or Increasing Ambition?

Consider Whirler Rogue, it synergizes with all the artifacts you are running and giving unblockable every turn multiple times a turn seems to be what this deck wants to do.

You're right, Kyle. I don't know how Elvish Mystic isn't EDH banned yet. It's obviously broken.

Been waiting to see a Lazav Commander... Always thought he would make a great one, and I've been considering making a deck similar to this one for a while now.

I'm glad you like it. It's a lot of fun to play. The downside is there are occasionally games where he doesn't transform into anything cool so voltron becomes less of an option. But in those cases, milling them out is usually doable and sometimes even more fun.

Heya! I'm a big Mill fan myself (not to the liking of my play group) :PI've not tried the artifact route like yours, seems interesting. I know it wouldn't work in my play group as when I play stuff like Keening Stone, Traumatize and Tunnel Vision the game just starts out with all vs me.

That being said, I have to reccomend Sire of Stagnation this card is FANTASTIC :D It's every millers wet dream version of Consecrated Sphinx

Also Mirko Vosk, Mind Drinker is just nuts.

So I've tried a multitude of versions of Mill where I don't become the instant target of hate, and what seems to balance it out best in my playgroup is when I never (or very rarely, and/or only as a "suprise" finisher) single target mill.

My last iteration of mill seems to have managed to hit that sweet spot where the mill is not so aggrevating to draw instant hate, but enough to still have it as a win con. If you wanna have a look and see what I've done, check it out HERE

I used to run both Sire and Mirko vosk. I had them when I had Lazav, Dimir Mastermind as the commander. Back then, this was not an artifact deck so much as a collection of good UB cards. It worked great and was a fantastic voltron commander in my opinion. But I played that deck forever and I wanted to create something fresh but still keep the mill. I eventually cut Mirko for something that fit with the rest of the artifact build a little better. He is a fantastic mill card though.

To get of the long revision list, I'd change one card, and it should be a small revision number 13 lol

Aphetto Alchemist + Illusionist's Bracers lets your mana rocks and Grindlock go infite

perhaps Geralf's Mindcrusher or Stitcher Geralf? I run them in my mill deck and it's nice to have some fatties on the field for defense, (not to say consuming abberation) won't be defense enough.

Wight of Precinct Six and Nighthowler can be very effective in mill decks too.

Altar of the Brood?

I've been wondering about Altar of the Brood and whether it mills hard enough fast enough. I recently added Mechanized Production and Efficient Construction so I think it's time to reconsider Altar of the Brood. Plus, I've been getting Paradox Engine to pop pretty consistently and I could see that pairing well with the Altar too. I really hope they don't ban Paradox Engine.
