Great Deck! +1 From Me

It would be awesome if you would check out my elf deck Mono Green Elf Deck and see if you could give me any suggestions. I would love input from smart mtg players.

You could add Grimgrin, Corpse-Born and amp him up with aurelia and sacrifice the other tokens.

You could try Cyclonic Rift ? You can overload it the turn after you play Medomai the Ageless and that leaves the board clear for Medomai the Ageless to attack and grant the extra turn.

Medomai the Ageless can't attack during extra turns. Also if you read the Strionic Resonator card. It says: Copy target abbility, so you get just 1 extra turn. It doesnt stack. You just get twice a next turn.

Also if you could copy in the "second turn", it says "Whenever Medomai the Ageless deals combat damage to a player", however it also says: "Medomai the Ageless can't attack during extra turns."

I wish Strionic Resonator would work with Medomai. But I don't think it would. However it does work with Aurelia, the Warleader .

Ow, and you can't use cards like Stolen Identity to copy Medomai the Ageless since it is a Legendary creature. One will be destroy since you can have only 1.

@ Tspyrom Hm... To me it seems as if the Strionic Resonator does work as expected with Medomai. You get two extra turns instead of one extra turn. It's not an infinte turn loop, but Medomai's last little line of text is meant to prevent that.

The new Legend Rule lets a person choose which legend to leave on the table, so the Aurelia + Stolen Identity would work for infinite attack steps... of course if you already have infinite attack steps and you are swinging with Medomai each time as well, you've dealt infinite damage and can take infinite turns after you decide to quit. (Overkill anyone?)

He can only attack once, I don't see how you think you can get 2 extra turns.

Strionic Resonator copies the triggered ability that gives the single extra turn, giving you an additional extra turn (2 total extra turns for a single attack phase).

Also, Medomai the Ageless may not attack during extra turns, but the card says nothing about extra attack phases. Consequently, if he were to participate in the Aurelia, the Warleader + Stolen Identity infinite attack phase combo, you would get as many 'extra' turns as you wanted, you just couldn't attack with him during those attack phases.

I believe that you are capable of getting a "feels like" infinite loop. With enough Medomai the Ageless in your hand you could potentially receive 8 turns from one. If you were to trigger his activated ability, take your second turn and then play another Medomai the Ageless from your hand, destroying the original Medomai the Ageless because of the blasted "legendary" rule and loop this for as many Medomai the Ageless as you have in your hand. I definitely love this card coupled with Aurelia, the Warleader could mean the end of a game. It would take a few turns to get to this point but given enough control and removal you could make this a constant winner. LOVE IT!! + one from me.

The turn would still be an 'extra turn', but is it technically an extra turn for the new instance of Medomai the Ageless ?

Yes. You can do the same thing with something like Obzedat, Ghost Council . I've looped him to finish games before. You can loop like this with plenty of cards. Elspeth, Sun's Champion can create six 1/1 whit soldier tokens in one turn for me. It makes twelve mana and is improbable but possible.

You could also give Medomai the Ageless a Fireshrieker and that would give you two extras alone.
