When you combine Deathtouch and First Strike, it's an auto-kill.

I figured it would be easier to give Deathtouch creatures in black and green First Strike than it would be to give white and red First Strike creatures Deathtouch.

In this deck we have air covered via Vampire Nighthawk, and enchantments and artifacts covered via Acidic Slime. Creatures will always die because of the Deathtouch/First Strike, and even if they have First Strike as well, they will die from the Deathtouch.

Verdant Catacombs works very well with Turntimber Basilisk since you can trigger his Lure effect twice. Since he won't die, you can swing without worrying about his 1 toughness.

The only weakness in this deck that I can see so far is that since the power of the creatures are relatively low for speed purposes, it takes longer to win, which gives the opponent more time to draw answers. But the equipment boosts the power relatively quickly, so I don't know if that's really an issue.

Does anyone notice any weaknesses and how I could remedy them without removing an integral part of the deck? I want to keep it in Modern.
