This is my Melek EDH deck. It's a storm deck, with a couple of wincons here. Honestly, Melek is here more for the colors than anything else. I'm considering trying Jori En or Mizzix of the Izmagnus in his place to see if he runs any smoother.

Being that the core of the deck is storm, you want to get Aria of Flame, Thousand-Year Storm, Aetherflux Reservoir, Ral Storm Conduit, or Guttersnipe out ASAP. Then go infinite with Reset or Turnabout and Reiterate. At that point, with infinite mana, you can cast any number of the wincons here.

You've already won if you have any of those first five cards out. Otherwise, use all that mana and dump it into Fall of the Titans, Comet Storm, Grape Shot, Ignite Memories, or Invoke the Firemind. If you need to search, go ahead and use Invoke the Firemind, Epic Experiment, or Blue Sun's Zenith to draw (or cast) your deck. Hell, you can even just have Talrand, Sky Summoner out before you storm off and have as many 2/2 flying Drakes as you could possibly want.

Along the way, there's plenty of draw, counterspells, and board disruption in this deck to keep you alive while you find your combos.

As to the land base, I'm currently testing it out. I like it for the most part, but if I run into any nonbasic lands that I feel are underperforming, then they will be getting cut for basic lands most likely.
