A little story of the history of this deck. When i first started playing magic my first deck was an izzet deck and i loved it. i took my 60 card modern deck and made it into a Keranos, God of Storms deck. it was very mean, lots of draw and tons of burn and a few copies. then on a sad day, i got all of my decks stolen from me and i was a very, very sad panda. after some time i have rebuilt my concept and im now running Melek as my commander (i even took out keranos for a while) the concept now is i want to set up a little pillow fort sorta deal, use some counters to maintain board state and then play and unleash melek upon everyone. i think thats about enough banter, lets get into the details shall we?

-Echo Mage = copy ANY instant or sorcery spell played EVER for 4 times for 4 mana OR 6 times for 6 mana! now that's efficiency!
-Keranos, God of Storms =burn 1 guy for 9, 2 things for 3/6 or 3 things for 3, OR draw 4 cards at the start of my turn. whaaaat!!!!
-Lighthouse Chronologist = I get 3 turns in between all my oponents turns? yes please!!
-Ral Zerek = copy any of his badass abilities twice! im all about those copies!
-Charmbreaker Devils = whats more useful than getting 2 cards from my graveyard? 3 cards if you got Strionic Resonator on the field!
- Venser, Shaper Servant = HUGE board control for 6 mana, bounce bouch venser and 1/2 permanents.
-Melek, Izzet Paragon = well you know, ill pay 2 extra mana to get a total of 3 copies of a spell off the top my my library, or ill pary 4 for 4 copies. dont be scarred.
things that copy spells:
Dual Casting,Fork,Twincast,Increasing Vengeance,Reverberate,Reiterate,Wild Ricochet = some of my favourite spells to play and the entire concept of the deck, i love play multiples of things!
extra turns:
Time Warp,Temporal Trespass,Temporal Mastery,Lighthouse Chronologist = if i manage to copy any one of these spells more than 2 times it generally results in people mana weaving for a rematch ;)
ramp:
Mana Flare, Caged Sun, Sol Ring, Thran Dynamo, Basalt Monolith, High Tide = these babies allow my X cost spells to get HUGE!
so there it is folks, the premise of my deck! i could go on for longer about the tiny nuances but im sure you will figure it out! some of you may be wondering why im not running Enter the Infinite with Omniscience. simple answer, i dont like the combo. if im going to be 'that guy' id rather run infinite mana and a X cost spell to end. it makes it at least a LITTLE more challenging
so please, please, please comment and give any helpful advice! im always looking on improvements for all my decks. if you like the list dont forget to +1!!
P.s. I have been considering running this deck voltron style, taking out all my creatures and throwing in Proteus Staff and running it that way, any comments on that topic would be GREATLY appreciated!!
