You should be having Expansion / Explosionthat so fits your theme and what no Star of Extinctionand you should think of other entire board clears for creatures like Blasphemous Act

Also I forgot Gilded Lotus and Thran Dynamofor mana ramp

This is a possibility Chaos Wand just because you can and to be funny

Also Cyclonic Rift I think Devastation Tide is a better card as while as Echoing Truth because echo can purge tokens and if you chain it with a card like this Polymorphist's Jest you can really ruin a day

and Doublecast more spell copy possibility

I would take out the counterspells as people just won't play into them because they know that you have them and I would add in Enter the Infinite + Laboratory Maniac as a win con.

Baral, Chief of Compliance is also good.

Take out all the high cost CMC spells and keep only the efficiently costed ones. You don't need cards like:

You also have two copies of Ponder in your list. After cutting those cards you should have about 100 cards. You were running too many additional redundant effects. Hope that helps.

Take out Mirrorpool too slow to use and too redundant.

I threw mirrorpool out there as another copy effect. If you want to run enter the infinite + lab man that kind of defeats the purpose of being a storm deck and not just a generic izzet lab man deck since Melek doesn't interact with any of that (just one opinion). But it all depends on what level of play you are up against. If you are going against CEDH style decks, you need to bring back your counter magic, if you are playing against just regular tuned decks, you might want to consider some defensive spells since you don't have very many options defending your life total. Long-Term Plans is another tutor option you can add to find your combo and Firemind's Research is a really solid card draw outlet for spell slinging and removal in a pinch.

I would take out Jaces Sanctum for Helm of Awakening , Rhystic Study for Mystic Remora , Cathartic Reunion for Wheel of Fortune , Tormenting Voice for Faithless Looting . Careful Study for Windfall and the Willwalker for an Aetherflux Reservoir or Sentinel Tower .

Probably a few more counters too

@slfdstrctnst: Wouldn't Sphinx of the Final Word negate any real mean of Instant/Sorcery Protection? Boseiju requires life, & is "one use per turn only". Is it her summoning cost, or what counterspells would you suggest?

@BMHKain Definitely don't play the Sphinx, way too much cmc for not enough payout.

Well the next things you'll want to ditch are; The bad spell copy stuff Twincast , Fork , Increasing Vengeance , Doublecast , Reverberate .. Bonus round, 1kystorm and Melek are plenty..

You'll want to run 8-10 counter's like: Dispel , Spell Pierce , Negate , Counterspell , Force of Will , Mental Misstep , Mana Drain , Pyroblast , Pact of Negation , Swan Song

@slfdstrctnst: I can only find 2-3 Copyspels in the deck remaining: Primal Amulet  ^Flip, Expansion / Explosion , & Mirrorpool if you count a land. w/ 4 cuts to make, I wonder if they're just as garbage as your aforementioned examples...

Baral, Helm, and G.Electromancer are great. Primal Amulet is too much for it's initial effect and once it flips you lose that effect (which usually feels bad) and requiring its mana to be spent on the spell to copy limits it's combo potential. Expansion / Explosion is a good flex card, copies peoples tutor / counters or Bonus Round and can take out 2 opponents with the other side. Cut Mirrorpool for sure, actually it looks like you could cut about 4-6 lands after that. -Mirrorpool -Swiftwater Cliffs -Temple of Epiphany -4 Mountains + Volcanic Island is a good start

Update: Added Ral, Storm Conduit . But is it worth adding at all? If not, are there any other lands I could use aside from something like... well... Volcanic Island ? It's great, but even I have a budget, I'm afraid...

Caldera Lake is the only other untapped dual land I can think of. Everything else comes into play tapped or requires a sacrifice.

@skroes: Odd. That actually taps when online. Not that it matters anyways, I ponder as to if Ash Barrens is a good alt here...

@skroes: No need to fret. It's either Ash Barrens , or Fiery Islet ; both enter play untapped, or would Prismatic Vista or something be any better? Already deciding on the Islet though...

Islet is definitely the choice there. More value.

UPDATE: I am wondering if adding Talisman of Creativity & Fiery Islet here is for the best. If not, I'd like an opinion on what to replace both, or either one. Thanks in advance. :)
