Melira Pod

Modern

ytse_jam

Melira Pod is known as a combo deck, focused on infinite life, thanks to the interaction between Melira, Sylvok Outcast, Kitchen Finks and Viscera Seer and using Murderous Redcap for infinite damage. All I did in my Melira approach was to include Lotleth Troll.

Lotleth Troll is a powerhouse for this combo. Sometimes I can't belive why some people forget about It. This is an improved Viscera Seer, providing perfect interaction with Melira, Sylvok Outcast and Kitchen Finks and also becomes a creature with infinite power and thoughness, giving extra winnig options, rather than just inflicting infinite damage with Murderous Redcap.

The other spells are just for some support and protection for the combo. Birds of Paradise and Wall of Roots gives extra mana, can feed Birthing Pod for researching Kitchen Finks and they help Chord of Calling. Archangel of Thune is an alternative, in case Melira, Sylvok Outcast gets removed from the game. Eternal Witness and Reveillark can make cards from graveyard return from your hand, so if you get the combo creatures destroyed, they can make them come to your hand again. Ranger of Eos is a great way fo find Viscera Seer faster. Spellskite is a great protection for the combo cards against removals and Qasali Pridemage can remove artifacts or enchantments there are blocking the development of the combo.

For the non-creature spells we have Abrupt Decay, which is a great removal, Chord of Calling and Birthing Pod, that need no introduction.

I confess I need some help with the sideboard, so please give your suggestions.

Please, give your oppinions about this deck.

Cheers!
