@loosemangoose0: I see what you're trying to do here, that's a nasty one-two punch for real. I do run a strict - no non-green tutors - philosophy in Commander though, so it won't be added here. I'll keep it in mind for my casual decks though!

I got this reference. And you have Worldgorger Dragon combos? +1.

What do you think of Sneak Attack to cheat things quickly.

Also, if you like dig-spells, what would you think of Frantic Search ?

Hey Alizer313, I'll skip on Sneak Attack since the deck actually plays out in a more "reanimatish" way and stuff like Sheoldred just isn't that impressive if it doesn't stick around. Frantic Search on the other hand is an interesting alternative to Faithless Looting, I'll try that one out in the future.

For what it's worth, I caught the reference, and I was super disappointed that someone beat me to it (I've been trying to come up with a name for my own list). Props though. Deck looks good too.

I would even consider Tibalt, the Fiend-Blooded for this, his penalty isn't bad considering what you are doing...

no non-green tutors for commander policy? but you are running Buried Alive , which is pretty much 3 tutor spells with your deck

@xuldinga77: thanks for the comments mate! Tibalt has been in one of the earlier versions until I realized that, while his first ability is certainly useful, people would just randomly kill him before I could activate the -4 or even -6 one. I think Urza's Guilt took his slot...

Also you're completely right on Buried Alive , should be the next card to cut.

+1 for the reference

Thanks mate, been pinching odds and ends from the list, trying to set up a backup edh deck thats fun, strategising, but easy to 'get' for use in games against my family.

+1 for SP!

Why not also use Conjurer's Closet to trigger multiple ETB effects and also get around Unearth?

Would a sac outlet like Disciple of Griselbrand or Disciple of Bolas be useful to you here?

Also, Fleshbag Marauder is always a useful creature to recur.

Side note: You're title is a reference to The Smashing Pumpkins.

Feldon of the Third Path could be a good addition to this deck. Especially if you're running Sundial of the Infinite

January 12, 2015 9:59 a.m.

put a clone in, and some other stuff like that too

@CanadianShinobi: Thanks a lot dude, I'll try out Fleshbag Marauder as a supplement for Shriekmaw soon. The one mana more should be worth the ability to get around indestructable creatures. Conjurer's Closet looks a little too situational to me but I'll try it out if I can trade for one.

Curse you for revealing the name reference though! :p

greaseball: Wow, that Feldon of the Third Path looks amazing on paper! Just like the old school Coffin Queen but with less drawbacks. Definitely a keeper. I think I'll take out one of the clunkier creatures like Dragon Mage for it...

@DERPLINGSUPREME: Thanks man but.... um... I already have Body Double, Evil Twin, Puppeteer Clique and Phyrexian Metamorph in here. Did you go through my list at all?

February 14, 2015 3:11 p.m.

yes. but no Clone :P

I am totally stealing this deck idea, it looks amazing and fun. +1, props! :D

@ketchup: Nice, feel free to go ahead man. You basically just need the Grixis colors for it. Sedris is actually more like the sub-theme of this deck. So if you want to go all-in on the combo, Nekusar, the Mindrazer is the obvious choice I guess...

February 24, 2015 4:01 a.m.

You're my hero! I knew there had to be a way to cheat with Sedris' ability.
My suggestion is Buried Alive.

February 27, 2015 9:53 a.m.

chilbi says... #25

Thanks a lot man. Buried Alive had been in but I've cut it since I run a strict no-tutor-effects philosophy in here.
