add a Soul Conduit

I tried using Soul Conduit, xXvampireXx, but it was just a little to costly and slow and every time it was more beneficial to just use my mana on making/taking things with Memnarch. thanks for the suggestion though!

I have a question. wouldn't island become colorless mana, which means you cant cast your blue spells?

Thelegendofus - technically, under offical EDH rulings, I believe you're right. I don't get a chance to play much at my local shop and really just made this deck to play with some cool artifacts I had, and, in my playgroup, with "house rules" I guess you could say, it's allowed. That said, I guess I should mention that first and foremost in description - thanks for bringing that up.

i think you can since i look at other memnarch edh decks and they had blue cards in them too.

In EDH rulings, a card's color identity is determined by its mana cost or mana symbols that appear in its rules text. Since Memnarch has abilities that cost blue mana, that makes his color identity blue. So he can be used as the commander of a blue deck.

I feel that you should definitely add Mycosynth Lattice, so that you don't even have to assimilate you're opponents permanents. Maybe Darksteel Forge, cause it's a great combo with any artifact deck, but especially Mycosynth Lattice.

AppaTheBizon, I definitely should and will, sooner or later. Biggest problem is price on Lattice and finding a Forge. Didn't realize until you commented that my acquire board is no longer posted in deck description - they have both in the "must-haves" list for a while. Thanks for the comment!
