Milling them out is just one of the win cons. I mainly want to get them to zero. I like the idea of card:Jace's Phantasm, I need another beater I think. I might test him out. Thanks!

This is probably going to sound very very very odd, but I recommend changing Dissipate out for Cancel because the card you counter can be counted towards card:Jace's Phantasm's Threshold.

Sounds good! And have you considered Nephalia Drownyard ?

Originally I had some mill in here. I was changing some cards around and forgot to replace Liliana of the Veil for some Sands of Delirium .

Why no Mind Sculpt ? For only 2 mana, that card is devastating.

I had it in originally but replaced it with Mind Rot . Mind Sculpt is a fantastic card for mill but I don't see it being too effective in here. Mind Rot on the other hand disrupts the game and still fills up their graveyard.

I still think this is a mill deck, but it does go along the lines of UB control which incorporates a lot of mill in its strategy, but I noticed you have no way of dealing with Frites in your sideboard. Maybe Vraska but thats it.

You're right! Also I got Golgari Charm and Rakdos Charm mixed up so added card:Tormod's Crypt.

Jace, Memory Adept is a great card for mill and I would highly recommend using him. At worst he might just be 5 mana to mill 10, but if he is allowed to stay for 2 or even 3 turns, you can mill 20-30 just like that. Trepanation Blade is another card to look into, but I am not sure of how well it will work without play testing. It might end up being too slow, but the nice thing about it is that it disrupts the land draws which can make a game very frustrating. Disrupting land draws often leads to opponents getting screwed out of land for 3-6 turns which nearly always ends the game in your favor. And it mills and pumps the creature so it has a decent amount of versatility in here. A solid looking deck though.

Thanks for the suggestions. I had thought of Jace, Memory Adept before as a sideboard card because of his 0 ability but I already have 2 five drop creatures. I could possibly put 2x Thragtusk in my sideboard then mainboard 2x Jace, Memory Adept . I love Trepanation Blade , I'm actually shocked I didn't think of that one. It is slow but I can test it out and see what happens. Thanks bud!

I really like havengul on the side deck. She's so awesome.

take out mutilate for lily! =D mutilate won't do much damage on this build...atleast not enough imo. I like to make sure mutilate gets sigarda the most. So shock lands basically and mono black. Or perhaps tribute to hunger? And it feeds shaman.

I like the changes. Playtested it a few times and it always ended very nicely.

I've played some games on cockatrice and decided to mainboard Havengul Lich . Sands of Delirium + Havengul Lich is just nuts. Mutilate is good against tokens...which i'm starting to see alot of in my meta. Going to add those Liliana of the Veil in the side.

If you don't mind me asking, how did it perform? I'm thinking of adding Havengul Lich mainboard. Thoughts?

It is good against tokens....but how many swamps do u pull in a game?? Typically? I feel mutilate is much more a boss card when mono black, because it's one of the only cards that wrecks sigarda

The only problem I see with Cower in Fear is when Intangible Virtue is in play and all the tokens get buffed off it and a mere -1 -1 won't cut it. I was actually thinking about Sever the Bloodline instead since I don't have many swamps til Gatecrash is released. Thoughts?

It played pretty well against midrange type decks. There isn't enough defense, removal, or aggro to trade with high paced zombie aggro but I'm not quite sure what you could add to change that just yet. Cower in Fear is a good defense against Gravecrawler for a turn but Diregraf Ghoul and card:Geralf's Messenger just run right through that and your defenders and keep on going. The only way I have been able to hit the card:Jace's Phantasm is with Jace, Memory Adept . It is hard to put 20 cards in the graveyard before turn 5 with Sands of Delirium . But like I said, it was able to preform pretty well against midrange because of the later game removal of Cyclonic Rift and having some mid to late game win conditions with mill, Havengul Lich , and support with Thragtusk .

Increasing Confusiom? Jace's Phantasm? Like the deck overall +1 from me.
