@ShiltonCDXX

card:Jace's Phantasm is actually really good in this deck. It can block angels and is a 5/5 late game for one mana. I actually use Dispel in my sideboard, I guess I forgot to add it in. It's really good against control mwahahahaha. I have another deck just like this one without the mill that uses the demon as a sideboard against certain mach ups.

you should add in a couple Chromatic Lantern s so you can steal thier creatures with Havengul Lich

it would be so fun to evil twin thier biggest creature, kill it, and bring it back with lich and have two copies of thier best card

Why are you running 4x card:Jace's Phantasm if you only have 1x Mind Sculpt and no other mill cards? (I'm not counting Nephalia Drownyard )

Also, why do you mainboard 4x Fog ?

@Antebios

I had Jace, Memory Adept in here before hand, I'm working on taking the phantasms out. The Fog is used against aggro decks and protects my planeswalker from time to time. I won 2 games with that last night lol.

Desecration demon sounds really good(I got a playset when it came out cuz I thought it'd be awesome) It's been really iffy to me. I would suggest Neferox or bloodgift demon instead. You have very little mill to be using phantasm so I'd suggest a snapcaster a thragdaddy and 2 vampire nighthawk. Anyway, upvote and please check out your disruption buddy deck:wbr-hate.

@user:Weston%20Ayarza

I used to have Jace, Memory Adept in here but replaced him for Jace, Architect of Thought because he is exactly what I needed for this deck. This is not a mill deck but utilizes some mill for card:Jace's Phantasm and winning long games.

I laugh if someone pulls a Psychic Spiral on you late game... or even worse, an unburial rites of a snapcaster mage flashbacking a psychic spiral lol. That is literally the most hurtful way to lose to mill ever... by your own mill.

You thinking about adding Lazav, Dimir Mastermind when gatecrash comes out?

CrimsonKing says... #13

I'm. Highly considering him. I crapped my pants when I saw him lol

lol I think he could really mess with the reanimators out there, even more so if you add some graveyard hate like Cremate or Vile Rebirth

@EnAvDeFordomte

I'm in love with the guildmage. When gatecrash hits I'm going to have a lot of thinking to do!

January 3, 2013 8:39 p.m.

could i ask why you run Duress over Appetite for Brains ? And why Murder over Ultimate Price or Victim of Night ?

January 4, 2013 7:37 p.m.

CrimsonKing says... #18

@Warzin

My reasoning behind having Duress instead of Appetite for Brains was to provide more ammo for card:Jace's Phantasm and Deathrite Shaman . Duress also hits counter spells too. I chose Murder because it's lack of restrictions, I can kill almost anything with it.

Warzin says... #19

figured Murder would be that. forgot bout Appetite for Brains exile part for second there makes alot of sence to take Duress . thx for explaining:)

I don't understand how you can utilize card:Jace's Phantasm to it's full potential with 3 cards that mill the opponent :/.

January 8, 2013 12:02 a.m.

CrimsonKing says... #21

@buffy

I don't need to put cards in their graveyard often, the graveyard will be full of cards late game. I'm not impatient so I survive til late game through the use of removal and discard along with some mill for card:Jace's Phantasm.

January 8, 2013 12:15 a.m.

Wabbbit says... #22

Hmm, interesting. So your playing a 1 mana early game card so he can bash face in the late game?

January 8, 2013 12:17 a.m.

CrimsonKing says... #23

buffy

Exactly. He can block angels too and he's great for that. I just added Delver of Secrets  Flip in and put Deathrite Shaman in my sideboard. He gives me another early threat along with the phantasm.

January 8, 2013 12:21 a.m.

Wabbbit says... #24

Gotcha! Thanks for clearing that up for me! I'll +1 now :P.

No problem bud. I'm most likely going to to use the phantasm again with gatecrash comes along :-)
