Mentor here to learn you some manners.
Monastery Mentor
allows you to go super wide.
Puresteel Paladin
and
Sram, Senior Edificer
allow you to refill your hand whenever you cast your 0 cost artifacts (Cheerios), while also gaining a prowess token thanks to mentor. When we draw
Paradoxical Outcome
we can essentially go infinite and draw our whole deck, flooding the board with tokens.
Spellskite
allows us to protect our stuff from interaction.
You need to mulligan aggressively with this deck. You need at least a Puresteel or Sram and hopefully a Mentor. There are 16 0's in the deck so its not that hard to topdeck them. Dont keep hands with more than 1 paradox as they clog up the hand till later.
Another great interaction I discovered through playtesting is
Puresteel Paladin
and
Paradise Mantle
along with non-summoning sick tokens. If you can crank out some tokens with mentor and have Paladin and just 1 Mantle (along with 2 other artifacts) you can tap all of your tokens for mana since mantle now has equip 0 thanks to Paladin. Comes in handy when you're trying to draw your deck.
It is super easy to draw your entire deck with 2 of any combination of Sram and Paladin out. If you're drawing 2-3 cards per 0 mana artifact, you'll rifle through your deck. Thus, the one copy of
Thassa's Oracle
.
Paradoxical Outcome
is key in the deck because if we play a bunch of cheerios, cast paradox, draw a ton of cards, replay the cheerios, if they're not already dead by Mentor tokens, we have 1x
Thassa's Oracle
in case we go infinite and draw the whole deck.
This deck is for you if you like to draw your whole deck, get a million permanents on the battlefield, and attack for the win. Have fun! ;)
