The idea of this is to use a Avacyn's Pilgrim or Birds of Paradise to lay a Mentor of the Meek by turn 2 so turn 3 you can use your weenies and mana ramps to pump out creatures and draw cards. Champion of the Parish pumped from the general human theme of the deck is the main kill condition, along with the battle cry from Hero of Bladehold. Also Garruk Relentless   for token spam and creature tutor goodness.
