Does the same thing most Meren decks do. Run high value recursion targets alongside cheap sac outlets and saccable creatures to get Meren up and running.

The deck tries to play a straight-forward value game. My group has learned to target Meren pretty quickly, so I've reduced the speed at which you can give her counters in order to make room for a more self sufficient 99, that should be able to play well without her, until someone else establishes themselves as a big enough threat that you can get Meren onto the board without anyone feeling like she's a good use of removal. This strategy forces you to play from behind, which isn't too difficult in a late game focused strategy like this one.

Currently undergoing a good number of recent edits, and i'm still trying to see what's worth keeping/removing.
