Maybeboard

Here is a Meren of Clan Nel Toth deck that I have been working on. I've done a lot of reading up on Meren and decided that I wanted to go for an attrition gameplan with a slower, more casual lifedrain win condition. This means that I will be using cards like Plaguecrafter, Caustic Caterpillar, and Vindictive Lich to wear down my opponents, then ending the game by repeatedly looping cards like Gray Merchant of Asphodel, Kokusho, the Evening Star, and Mindslicer.

The deck focuses on using sacrifice as an advantage engine. Ideally we can establish a board in the early game that has creatures that sacrifice themselves or a sacrifice outlet, then bring out Meren to immediately get some experience counters. Once creatures are in the graveyard we can start getting that second cast value from them.

If you have any suggestions, let me know!

Updates Add

-Replaced The Great Henge with Entomb. TGH always felt clunky and never really got discounted much.

-Replaced Dawntreader Elk with Reanimate. The deck already has good amounts of ramp, and Reanimate is undeniably powerful.

-Replaced a Swamp with Volrath's Stronghold. Another strong utility land that can let us loop creatures easier
