ok so looking through your deck I noticed something a little off for a meren deck. You don't seem to have enough ETB or upon death trigger. You also seem to have an EXTREME amount of mana ramp, but nothing to ramp into.

my main suggestion for you would be to add in utility based creatures instead of so many ramp based. Ashnod's Altar Dictate of ErebosCan you explain your wincons to me, I can't seem to find any defining moment in the list that will cause your win, except for wurmcoil engine who is an awesome card.

Nice deck. Have you considered Spike Feeder? It can sac itself, give you some life, and with Mikaeus, the Unhallowed it gives infinite life. With both Mikaeus, the Unhallowed and Blood Artist, you get to deal infinite damage as well. It acts similarly to Triskelion.

Dictate is slower to b in the deck. I'm just have been an over site. There are several win conditions. Mikaeus and triskelion combo, avenger is always fun and just fun. Also the land destruction package is not very fun for ppl. I had never considered spike feeder but I will test it thanks!

Also I love the rock and this is kinda fun like that.

Spike Feeder doesn't combo with Mikaeus, the Unhallowed without a sac outlet since mikaeus gives it +1/+1. If you want something to go infinite with mikaeus Devoted Druid is the way to go.

I don't run spiker feeder. I don't want it too become a pure combo deck.

If you don't want meren to combo you are using the wrong commander then . Meren is meant to combo .. Her effect is strictly for comboFor some awesome ideas check out my deck as well ... There's a lot of things that play on each other I need to update the description with every combo but every card is pure gain

yumakid, I believe that Meren is exceptionally good for combos, but I don't think that is how you have to play her. I have been able to win many tough games without ever reaching any of my combos and just end up outvaluing my opponents with her reanimating ability.

Saying she is just for combo is ridiculous, saying that is ignorant. She is a great commander all around. She's great in stax and as just a straight aggro build. Yes she is strongest as midrange control, but if I wanted a top tier primer list I would have built a tier one deck. Ie zur or narset being the two strongest in my opinion. I openly welcome suggestions, but this is the build I chose. Thanks for the suggestion but I like my build.

+1 for your deck.There are few cards I wouldn't run since they are not giving you much advantage or too slow.- Malestrom pulse is a great card but I don't think he will give you a win.-Exhume can help an opponent bring back a Sigarda, Avacyn or anything else that you don't want to see back on the battlefield. Being that said having it in you hand can become a waste since you wouldn't want to give that advantage to an opponent.- Mycoloth is sure fun but too slow to say that it will be a game changer early game.-Jarad golgari lich lord is a cool card but again too slow , paying 3 to sac a creature and making people lose X life is way to slow to make it worth.-Korozda guildmage is again mostly a token generator but slow to say that its competitive.Lothlet troll shouldn't be in the deck-Terastodon is a 9 drop to destroy 3 non creature. I used him before but remove it as it is too slow and don't combo like Woodfall primus with Mikaeus.I would suggest to change it to woodfall, he is a better choice.

Thanks! I haven't gotten all the cards yet, but I have traded for most of it and have spent maybe 200$ in total. The bayou is a pipe dream but I'll get it after a while.

I'm running a bit different of a build from you but here are some staples I'd suggest: Boundless Realms, Survival of the Fittest, and Woodfall Primus. Card disruption is key and these generally win me the game so I have Mind Slash and Mindslicer in my Meren.

One comment for my suggestions coming up next. You have a lot of creatures that give you mana acceleration which is great but it can be crippling if you get board swept (which I do in my playgroup often). You may want to consider adding more core ramp (Rampant Growth, Ranger's Path, etc.). I'd also suggest Greater Good, and Evolutionary Leap for your sac outlets as well as Dictate of Erebos to capitalize.

All good suggestions, dictate is in deck. With meren's ability I get more value on mana dorks. I've tested most of ur suggestions but it's always a work in progress! Please +1!

Also survival is a must! I just currently don't own one, the second I get it it will be in the deck
