Welcome, one and all, to my take on Meren of Clan Nel Toth EDH. Her power as a commander in Golgari colors is near unmatched, with a powerful reanimator engine that recurs your creatures.

As such this build is creature centric, with an Eldrazi sub-theme. Much of this deck can actually be built by purchasing her preconstructed Plunder the Graves product, and the Zendikar vs Eldrazi Duel Deck (how you upgrade it afterwards can be to your liking, this is my personal take on it). Thus, this build floats around $200, which is fairly budget for the format.

The deck has multiple little synergies and can get things rolling faster than expected with the plethora of recursion, ramp, and humongous creatures. A host of tutors is available in black/green as well to up the consistency.
