The idea behind this deck is to stop your opponents from effectively playing spells and to prevent anybody from attacking you. Because EDH is a singleton format, the large quantity of tutors in the deck allow it to function like a toolbox control deck. It has been extremely effective in locking down the board, however, it sometimes has a hard time winning
