Water is the essence of wetness, and wetness is the essence of beauty.

So as it stands it's about Vorel doing his counter thing. Got some enchantments and artifacts in here to double up on his ability. Things can jump off in really big ways if Vorell stays protected and can get some untaps in. There's a perverse satisfaction in equipping a Whispersilk Cloak to a 49/49 Scute Mob or tapping Gyre Sage/Astral Cornucopia for 128 mana and then casting a hydra. And of course on the really dirty days there's the disappointment on your buddies' faces when Magistrate's Scepter locks in an infinite combo or Darksteel Reactor exists uncontested for longer than a round or two.

I wanted to really work the hydra angle (gotta stay hydrated, you know?).

There's always room for refining and sharpening the card choices. Doubling Season springs to mind, but it's a big monetary commitment.
