+1 for making such a unique deck. Having an Eldrazi for the general is something i've never seen before. Kozeleik is a beast, and this deck looks like it could be fun to play with.

There were only 3 colorless legendary creatures (4 if you could use Emrakul): Kozilek, Ulamog, and Karn, Silver Golem. Obviously I'm going to put all 3 of them in the deck.

I playtested the deck and it's pretty evil. It's also obnoxiously expensive, but I'm gradually getting the pieces.

Just play tested it against my zombie deck, you win. You deserve the upvote

I feel like you should be running Rings of Brighthearth it has synergy with many of the artifacts. Lux Cannon for example can charge up placing multi tokens on per activation and can also be used to clone out multiple Vindicate at turn.

Hm, check out my list if it's any help, im in a hurry atm, but your list is quite different than mine :P.

Karn is not impressed!

im still very iffy about my build, but it has a couple more combos, and maybe it can give you some tips!

Im willing to tryout ward of bones, but maybe you should take out Etched Champion ?He doesen't seem to do anything in the deck, accept when you got a Batterskull out.

If you want a token maker, that taps for free, you should try out Myr Turbine instead of Nuisance Engine , since it can fetch you myrs when you need it.

sjsilver: I can see how the Rings of Brighthearth would work. Your second sentence confuses me. Lux Cannon destroys permanents, not generate tokens, and where does this Vindicate come from?

runninonwater: Etched Champion is disgusting. Protection from colors essentially makes it able to block any color creature without dying. While Myr Turbine does have that second ability, my deck only has 2 Myrs it can search for.

Since you have a higher curve than my deck, i think you need more mana rocks.

@brokendwarf:

I was referring to the counters which Lux Cannon needs. (T) + 2x Rings of Brighthearth activation puts all 3 charge counters you need on. Next turn (T) to destroy as many things you can with cannon and rings.

While you mention it though, Rings of Brighthearth is also good with token generators like Myr Turbine to generate many more tokens.

I'd also consider Basalt Monolith for the ramp and the infinite mana combo with Rings of Brighthearth

@sjsilver

I hope you know that you can only copy Lux Cannon s activated ability once with Rings of Brighthearth once for each activated trigger.

Tapping lux cannon , Rings trigger, you pay 2, copying the activated ability, putting 2 counters on the lux cannon.. It does not say you can pay 2 twice so you can get 3 counters from Lux Cannon tapping once.

Same with Myr Turbine , if you tap Turbine once, you get 1 trigger from Rings of Brighthearth . So when they resolve you get 2 myrs.

if you pay 2 mana multiple times per activated trigger , you're cheating >=(.

I hope my typing is not too confusing.

@runninonwater

You're right I don't typically enjoy going "infinite" so I apologize.

Just add Voltaic Key and things are all better...and Basalt Monolith and... well in fact there are no "things" because your Lux Cannon just did go off an blow everything up.

runninonwater says... #13

@sjsilver You can go inf with this combo:Karn, Silver Golem + Voltaic Construct + Mana rock that taps for 3 or more+ Lux Cannon .Animare Mana rock, tapp for 3, untap for 2 thanks to Voltaic, netting 1 mana each tap/untap.

Then you can play with Lux Cannon for Inf.

I play some inf combos in mine because colorless does not have lots of ways to winning really..Sure you can have inf Turns too.

Infinite is a clutch option atm :P.

Not gonna bother you anymore :).

Just my minor suggestions, from seeing other similar decks:

Spine of Ish Sah = resuable targetted removal

Trading Post = artifact recursion, artifact sacrifcing, interacts with Voltaic Key combos

Illusionist's Bracers = various funny interactions when attached to artifacts made into creatures; particularly it causes voltaic key to become infinite mana and infinite untapping at the same time

Having all three, Karn, and Voltaic Key in play is hilarious, you can effectively destroy anything and as much as you want, draw anything you want, play anything you want, etc etc. But that's a five card combo so I can see not considering it practical.

An animated Akroma's Memorial is Akroma, Angel of Wrath herself. Actually, it's even got a bit more P/T. Could be quite fun to toss out.

runninonwater says... #17

Akrmoa's Memorial is really good in a Karn deck, with the tutor effects to get blightsteel colossus etc.

November 26, 2013 9:06 p.m.

brokendwarf says... #18

Akroma's Memorial was in my previous build of the deck, it I only got it out once and had it be relevant to a creature I had out (It was a Pathrazer of Ulamog , and the guy just scooped after that). And apart from animating it, that's about the only time it's useful. From my multiple tests of the deck, it's just been a dead draw cause I had no good creatures out to benefit off of it, or it's been in my opening hand and I just partial mulligan it away.

runninonwater says... #19

Well, it's easier to achieve inf combos i guess, still a good card, all your creatures gets vigilance. etc etc. Sometimes ive top decked it to win. But i guess i can try my deck without it aswell.

Blinkmoth Urn is a greatway to make stupid amounts of mana, and Ashnod's Altar Would let you sac your thopter tokens for ten mana every turn..

January 1, 2014 2:10 a.m.

brokendwarf says... #21

The problem with Blinkmoth Urn is it's just as beneficial to people running their own artifact decks, like with Sharuum the Hegemon , and this deck isn't about helping other players.

Ashnod's Altar is just a less useful version of Krark-Clan Ironworks , which I'm already running.

Mithrandrir says... #22

Only if it's Untapped. I use a bunch of Artifacts in my karn deck that let you tap an artifact or two for various Effects to keep the urn tapped. Clock of Omens , Lodestone Myr etc. Things I can do even during opponents' upkeep.
