My workplace is hosting a Halloween themed MTG event towards the end of October, where all participants must construct a Legacy-legal deck that utilizes exclusively Halloween themed creature types (Zombies, Werewolves, Vampires, Skeletons, etc.), and all decks must fall below the 30$ price range (To ensure an even playing field amongst all participants).

I had initially created this deck last year back when Eldritch Moon had just come out, with the intention of creating a low-budget competitive standard deck to play with friends, but due to conflicting schedules we were no longer able to play as consistently as before, and I never wound up physically making the deck. However, with this event on the horizon, I figured it would be the perfect time to dig through the archives, so to speak, and follow through with making it.

Strategy is simple but effective, Madness being the core mechanic:

• Tormenting Voice and Insolent Neonate for mild draw power, with Discard to enable Madness on other cards.

• Lightning Axe, Fiery Temper, and Avacyn's Judgment for spot removal, Lightning Axe featuring more Discard to enable Madness on other cards, Fiery Temper and Avacyn's Judgment featuring Madness themselves.

• All the creatures featuring either Madness or some form of Discard effect in order to complement one another very well, Olivia, Mobilized for War being one of the stronger cards in the deck.

• Call the Bloodline providing a continuous Discard outlet to enable Madness on other cards, while also giving vampire tokens in the process.

• Stensia Masquerade to ramp up the creatures as they deal damage, eventually overwhelming the opponent.
