Doesn't Pia's Revolution fall into the category of "Things that recur stuff if it died this turn''?

If that card is ok then I would argue Marchesa, the Black Rose should also be on the list since she isn't turn specific.

Thanks for putting this together I know it will be super helpful since I love running recursion in my decks no matter the colors.

Pia's Revolution applies to things as they die.It's different as it isn't a conditional that only affects things that died that turn like the example linked.

It will happen every turn immediately on destroy trigger instead of on a conditional which makes it different to the situational re-animators he isn't listing!!

Well, if you draw it after the thing has died, it doesn't really help with recurring cards that died previously. Does that make sense?

Taigam, Ojutai Master gives rebound, not sure if that counts, but he's sooooo good if you build a spellslinger deck.

e10mays, he's definitely got spellslinger synergy, but I don't think that synergy is the recursion type since he doesn't do anything for instants and sorceries in the graveyard. Thanks for the comment though!

meowndabout, I have been torn about the fact that this list is very, very long, yet more expensive cards like that one are missing from the list (even though their high cmc is not because of their inefficiency, but rather to balance out the fact that they return cards directly to the battlefield; in fact, I almost always would rather have Zombify over Raise Dead)

So I gave it some more thought, and I think if this list is going to be useful, it has to be short enough that it doesn't show too many strictly worse cards but also long enough to include the best ones.

I'm in the process of updating the list, and will tag you again when it's done.

eljeffe_demagico, there are plenty of cards that will let you get a creature from your graveyard onto the battlefield for less than 5 mana, and even in mono white, there are a few.

My suggestion is Haunted Crossroads

Budget and slightly slower version of Phyrexian Reclamation however no life required and the ability is only 1 Weasley black to trigger

Also really Yawgmoth's Vile Offering didn't make the... oh wait nvm tappedout thinks it's illegal in commander.

Both of those cards are really great in the right deck, but since I'm aiming to show the most cost effective cards, I don't have room to showcase a card that can put X cards from your graveyard on top of your library for X+3 mana or a card that can reanimate 1 card for 5 mana, even though I know that they are powerful cards that are great in many decks. Thanks though!

I would have suggested Sigil of the New Dawn buts it's illegal for the catergory of "recur stuff if it died this turn"
