GrayAlchemyst, I'll add Sol Ring back in the deck. I was thinking about cutting Kavu Lair. What do you think? I will also look into adding more creature ramp. Thank you for the feedback! Hopefully I can get it fixed, so you can trump turn 3-4.

I like both of those changes a lot. And don't get me wrong the deck seems really strong, but I think making it more efficient will just increase the power too. Which is the goal.

Ulvenwald Tracker for removal?

Right, I forgot that omnath triggers off of elementals. Sorry about that.

GrayAlchemyst, Firebones675: After putting a lot of thought into all the feedback I've received. I changed the formula of the deck. Hopefully it was for the better and not for the worst. What do you think? Could you play test it some and see if it's providing early game advantage?

I'd love to playtest. The deck looks stronger and more consistent already. Could I ask a favor? I'd love it if you could playtest the commander deck I'm building:

It's also a ramp style deck with notable differences and I want your opinions cause this deck is baller.

This seems like a fabulous deck! I love the additional creatures. And tightening up the non-creature spells seems to have worked out really well!. The one minor thing I'd add is of course Sol Ring and Gruul Signet. I think the cheap ramp and the fixing will be good and powerful.

I think its also important to mention that you are still a little light on removal. But I also think that how much it's rehired depends on your meta so I'd just submit that idea to you for mulling over.

I agree with GrayAlchemyst. A little more removal woudn't hurt but if you really don't need much for your current meta you might be able to get away with it. Using omnath you can pick off the smaller creatures, but there are some commanders like Zur the Enchanter that are super problematic if they stick around and having extra ways to deal with them are nice.

Firebones675, GrayAlchemyst: If I added Krosan Grip and Chaos Warp. Would that be enough? Thoughts? If so, any suggestions for cuts? I was thinking Crop Rotation and Courser of Kruphix. I'll most definitely playtest The Ultimate Simple Machine: The Inclined Plane.

Thank you both for all of your help and everyone else for that matter. I feel like we are so close to a complete, finished product.

Oh yeah real close! I think chaos warp and Krosan grip are a great start. I might add in at least 2 more removal spells as well operating under the "you need 8-12 removal spells in your Commander deck plan from mtggoldfish. I count 4 ish so far? Beast Within, acidic slime, Song of the Dryads, and then warstorm surge stranglehold and omnath are exactly complete removal spells but they count for something. Other options include Duplicant, Lignify, Ambush Viper, Gruul Ragebeast, Nevinyrral's Disk, Oblivion Stone, Ezuri's Predation, Berserk. Pick your two to 4 favorite poisons. Or actually your opponents poisons.

Interesting (but cool!) new direction with the deck. May I suggest the re-addition of any of Lightning Greaves, Whispersilk Cloak, or Swiftfoot Boots? This new iteration of the deck appears to be nearly all-in on Omnath who already is a lightning rod for removal. The mana output of your deck is high, so recasting Omnath shouldn't be too difficult, but one or two more ways to protect him besides Asceticism could be useful.

Another consideration now that you are running Scapeshift and so many fetchlands is Titania, Protector of Argoth.

Titania, Protector of Argoth + Crucible of Worlds + Strip Mine is a pretty devious combo as well.

So there are 11 lands which can enter the graveyard voluntarily and 5 or so cards that benefit or care about that/allow other lands to enter the graveyard. What if you cut some to many of those in order to make way for removal and omnath protection. Like maybe get rid of Crucible of Worlds (it's 2 landfall triggers with a fetch in the yard, and its good with strip mine but not insane unless you also have Titania) splendid reclamation usually ramps you for 3 or 4 getting you 6 landfall triggers, so maybe keep it but get rid of Explosive Vegetation since it is so much worse than splendid and you will nonetheless have a ton of land ramp. If you do cut the veggies it is not irrelevant to note that you have 11 cards in the deck that will etb tapped or cause lands to do so and thus 11 things that amulet of Vigor is relevant too. That is still a defendable number but it is good to note in case that number goes down.

You want to be king a$$hole but your not running blood moon? Especially against so many 5 color decks.

Thanks TheMrBigShot96, I have included Blood Moon to the deck.

What exactly resulted in your decision to revert to the earlier list? What problems was the deck encountering? Were there any standard cards from version two that should replace the dregs of version one?

GrayAlchemyst, after consistent game play with it, the other build wasn't aggressive enough for my playgroup. It seemed like it was easy for them to get around or have some sort of answer to prevent Omnath from going off. After discussing the build with them, we all agreed the original build posed more of a threat. Switching back to the original concept has caused for them to constantly stress for answers. They may respond to some things, but I come right back with something much worse than the last spell. Though I am solely targeted and it's "Omnath against the world." They have to respect the Omnath or they are toast! And that much I can appreciate.

Weaknesses I found in the other build:

  1. Not having enough of a haste mechanic has caused for a loss of potential heavy damage before the elementals are removed through either sac outlet or removal. On a side note, my play group is notorious for removing Omnath from play then board wiping.

  2. A constant struggle of not having a hand and not enough draw.

  3. The other build seemed so reliant on just Omnath alone. The group answered him by not allowing me to cast him by either countering him or taking control over him. If there were no sort of protection available, I was done for.

  4. Overall, It did not perform well in a multiplayer format.

Sorry, my life's been reallt chaotic recently. If you are worried about omnath being removed, there are protection spells you can run like Vines of Vastwood or Yavimaya Hollow. Asceticism and Archetype of Endurance also pretty nice.

I would honestly recommend taking Blood Moon out for Fervor. Majority of your mana base is nonbasic and your deck is primarily green, so Blood Moon has a higher likelihood of hurting you just as much as your opponent(s).

On top of that, you do want more haste enablers. They have the same CMC as well, which is added benefit.

Courser of Kruphix is another great card. Essentially just another Oracle of Mul Daya. Seeing as your play group is a lot of "instant heavy" decks, I would recommend Price of Glory as well. Shivan Harvest could be another sack outlet for you, plus more land destruction to slow your opponent(s) down.
