This is an original brew, but it drew some inspiration from an old mono white pioneer list d00mwake was running (pre lurrus ban)
This deck is capable of explosive starts thanks to michiko's reign of truth and all that glitters. Initially I was running ingenious smith, but I found the artifact count was too low in the deck to reliably hit a card, so I started trying thraben inspector and have been very impressed so far. Who needs thoughtcast when you have of one mind? Turning it on is very easy with 8x human 1 drops and moon circuit hacker which is basically a 1 drop. Hacker is seriously a house of a card. It feels very good when you bounce a thraben or ornithopter for value on turn 2. A buffed up vault skirge can often just straight up win the aggro race for you thanks to the lifelink, and stonecoil is completely fine playing as a 1 drop in the early game.
One cheeky play pattern to remember is to set an upkeep stop for michiko's if you have a nexus in play to buff the nexus, or to just add more power to the board. People also always forget that nexus can activate even when tapped, so there is always a lot of "gotcha" potential when you activate nexus to further pump the squad to trade well in combat.. or even threaten lethal.
From my experience in the past playing UW affinity in historic, not having seachrome coast or springleaf drum really hurt that archetype. It isn't really the case with this deck, since you don't have to make such a hard decision on turn 1 about how you should play your pathway, and the deck functions on 2 lands pretty well. You can get away with greedy 1 landers quite often without feeling bad either.
Obviously the deck has a hard time dealing with divine purge and I could see the deck having trouble vs UW auras, or rakdos arcanist lists, but it performs very well vs phoenix and often just goes over top of humans. It is definitely faster than UW affinity, and the cat oven matchup wasn't too bad thanks to stonecoil's trample and flyers (I'm pretty sure that archetype is dead now since the cat nerfs anyways). 5c Niv mizzet is a joke of a matchup thanks to stonecoil, and post board having rebuke just makes the matchup unlosable.
The sideboard is kind of a work in progress at the moment. The nova is for enchantress, rebukes vs control, the rest is pretty obvious. I would recommend against rest in peace. It is way too slow for what the deck wants to be doing, and tormod's crypt does the job just fine. I am not really sure about hearse either, but I know a lot of people are really high on it. Seal away is also something I have been testing out as well, but it could be a casket. Most people just expect casket, and imo artifact decks usually have a hard time dealing with any creature bigger than 3 cmc. I am definitely up for SB suggestions though.
