If your going to run Sphere of Safety , you could include Oblivion Ring , Underworld Connections , Ethereal Armor , Stab Wound , or One Thousand Lashes . All are decent standard enchantments.

I was thinking about Ethereal Armor and One Thousand Lashes . Ill probobly do etethereal armor, but I want to get my creatures and land base decided first.

What is the main point of this deck? Seems to be more than one, what is the main focus?

To get Crypt Ghast and Realmwright out to be able to summon high mana cost cards.

I would recommend -2 Consuming Aberration , -2 card:Jace's Phantasm, -2 Sphere of Safety would be my recommendations at this moment. The aberration and phantasm should really only be used in discard decks, and the sphere of safety is taking up room that could be used to help you find the crypt ghasts and realmwrights or that could be used for other, more powerful and high mana cost spells.

Now that you are at 60, you can evaluate what needs to be further removed or added.

Also you don't take my advice, it's up to you what you want to do.

Or just make it another discard deck and use Mind Grind for Realmghast combo

Milk__Man says... #7

Hmmm, that would be an option.... Maybe I could take out Paranoid Delusions and put in Mind Grind .....

Diabolic Revelation to get whatever you want or need? It's expensive but you're going to have a ton of mana (hopefully)

Milk__Man says... #9

Hopefully I would have a Realmwright , a Crypt Ghast , and Lord of the Void in my starting hand. Otherwise i guess Diabolic Revelation could come in handy..... Yeah I think I'll put in one or two just to get a better hand if I need one.

You might try Fog Bank instead of Kraken Hatchling . It costs more, but it will make a much better turn 2 following Realmwright

February 7, 2013 7:43 p.m.

Milk__Man says... #11

Yeah. I was thinking Kraken Hatchling in case i got no summons turn 1. Fog Bank does have flying and protection so it could stall more in the late game.

February 7, 2013 9:29 p.m.

Griselbrand and more Detention Sphere 's.... That is all.

I'd say Cyclonic Rift for early and late game control. The deck seems decent, just a little hard to get running.

@Human_Rogue_21,

I was thinking Griselbrand , but instead of more detention sphere's, I though of Sphere of Safety

@chrispmatth

Cyclonic Rift could help clear the board... Yeah I think i'll try to incorporate it.Also it is hard to get this deck running. That's the problem with this type of control. I wanted to make a completely different control deck that still qualified as control.

If you want actual infinite mana you can use Captain of the Mists , Gilded Lotus , and card:Illusionist's Bracers.

February 12, 2013 7:31 p.m.

Milk__Man says... #17

Gilded Lotus cost too much for turn five. I could be sending out Lord of the Void instead. card:Illusionist's Bracers is the only card that i would consider. Also would you think about if this deck became more enchantment based?

Dude!! Realmwright + Crypt Ghast was one of the first things I wanted to test play, but of course without forgetting Mutilate !! heheh you might want to consider since all your lands become swamps!

@PhilRock

As soon as I saw Realmwright and Crypt Ghast I instantly needed to make this deck.Mutilate would be nasty on everyone! That's actually a great remover for opponents!

I am not using the Gilded Lotus , but it does seem like a decent 5 drop for your deck. If you get stuck at 5/6 land, you can drop it. You get stronger Mind Grind and Syncopate and can get to an overloaded Cyclonic Rift that much faster. Slow start to me indicates that aggro would roll over you. It would get a board wipe that much sooner. Lord of the Void on turn 6 and getting 3b from the lotus would help most of the time I would imagine to summon it.

Milk__Man says... #21

Ill try to incorporate Gilded Lotus into my deck because it does serve for a good mana base. What do you think about adding 2x Merciless Eviction ?

February 17, 2013 7:09 p.m.

sam154 says... #22

I think Planar Cleansing is better just because it can clear away everything that makes jund a problem.

I played at FNM the other night with an Esper Control that had Obzedat, Ghost Council in the main deck and whenever I got him out there, I ended up winning. I think he'd actually help the deck more than Lord of the Void . Also, one of the most important aspects of a control deck is drawing cards. card:Sphinx's Revelation with your Crypt Ghast would be insane. You've got almost all the answers though, drawing cards helps to ensure you get them when you need them.

February 25, 2013 3:10 p.m.

Milk__Man says... #25

I have considered Obzedat, but the price of Lord of the Void was more reasonable. Same with card:Sphinx's Revelation. I would work amazingly but it is too high of a price.
