Sideboard


This is the list I have come up with in an attempt to make Hammer Time a more sturdy deck, pushing less for blazing fast combo kills and using more interaction to stay in the game longer. Often times in long grindy games you'll wind up with dead cards in your hand like Steelshaper's Gift. Using cards like Metallic Rebuke and Thoughtcast we use our primary synergy with artifacts to our advantage to stay in the driver's seat. Urza, Lord High Artificer and our man lands, Hall of Storm Giant's and Cave of the Frost Dragon, we have potent mid to late game threats. The sideboard is arguably the weakest point for the deck, I wasn't able to find the Portable Hole I wanted for the deck, so we just have some standard hate cards and more removal/interaction.
