On my torpor orb deck you'll see Rite of Consumption . Strictly better than Fling in black with lifelink. I take it you only use Archwing Dragon for evasion hit then Fling same turn.

You're right it is better, not standard legal though. This deck concept of red/black creature hate would be a lot better in casual.. Do you have any ideas that would make this deck more plausible?

I have Archwing Dragon in there because with Heartless Summoning it's a 2 cost 3/3 that keeps coming back. And with Havengul Vampire and Reaper from the Abyss it's a good death trigger..

Depends on your metagame, but Victim of Night may be better than Ultimate Price , what with the Ravnica block filling out this year. With Archwing Dragon dying every turn a full set of Tragic Slip s might be good, although i don't know if you can cast them after the start of the end step. 18 removal also seems a little much, perhaps 14 with a playset of... something. Perhaps a Rakdos, Lord of Riots to keep the theme.

Haha. My mate uses Predator Ooze and card:Akroma's Memorial. It's very oppressive. It's oppressive second turn with elf mana-fixing. That's why everything I make ignores the board or deals -1/-1 counters.

i would drop the card:Akroma's Memorial it cost too much and when you cast it etheir you were going to win the game or you wer going to lose it anyway
