The deck performed really well today.
Match 1: Turbo Fog
Not a match of magic that makes me smile. Stood no chance game 1 against fogs and aetherspouts, lost to tutelage mill out. Game 2 sided in gray merchant of asphodels, rec sages, and duress. Gray merchant took the game with exactsies. Game 3 was similar to game 2 but it took him longer to hit his land drops. As he drew desperately for land I built up a board with 12 black devotion and gray merchant for the kill.
Match 2: Mono Red Aggro Burn
This is pretty much the decklist that won the pro tour. Game 1 he flooded with lands and I flooded with Reaper of the Wilds, nuff said. Game 2 sided in gray merchant, bile blight, drown in sorrow, and feed the clan. I kept a 2 land hand which were both Llanowar wastes, pained myself for at least 5 before I got any real board presence. Got into burn range faster than I'd like and lost. Game 3 was close but I feed the clan'd my way out of burn range, stabilized with rakshasa and tasigur, took the match.
Match 3: Mardu Burn
Game 1 I despise'd away his Soulfire and thunderbreak regent turn 1 and 2 and he failed to play anything else that was bothersome. Game 2 sided in feed the clan and duress. Very close game, got me down to 1 life before I got him into topdeck mode in order to win, and beat him down with rakshasa.
Match 4: Temur Beatdown
Game 1 Had a 8/8 Warden of the First Tree with a Herald on it and he had no answers so he conceded. Game 2 I sided in nothing. I couldn't deal with his swarm of Polukranos, Knuckleblade, and Stormbreath's. Game 3 killed off alot of his threats and ended up only needing to cast Tasigur and bestowing Herald to win.
Final Match: Rematch Mono Red Aggro Burn
Game 1 A lot of removal into Tasigur and Reaper of the Wilds for the win. Game 2 sided in feed the clans. He out raced the hell out of me as I couldn't stay out of burn range. Game 3 Had somewhat of a stable board but was within burn range again and could have only been saved by a feed the clan top deck, lost to 3 wild slashes
