Commander / EDH Control Enchantment Multiplayer

Maybeboard

Creature (2)

Enchantment (1)

The goal of this deck is to play a tap out control kind of game. It aims to prey on creature decks, which make most of the decks I play against. An ideal game would have a lot of enchantments on my side and empty fields on the other side.

Creature sweepers are great, because they usually ruin the board of my opponents without touching mine. A few pillowfort enchantments will slow down aggressive decks considerably. Some counterspells and spot removal finish off the control package.

The deck draws a healthy amount of cards and I choose not to play all enchantresses. I will wipe the board on a regular basis, and therefore creature based draw is not so reliable. This is why I do not play the 3 mana enchantresses. We have a great general to replace them. The exceptions to this rule are Argothian Enchantress due to her low cost and built in protection. Eidolon of Blossoms is in here because it usually draws two cards when entering the battlefield.

Win conditions can be general damage with Flickering Ward. Tokens can also do the job thanks to Sigil of the Empty Throne or Luminarch Ascension. By the way,Sigil of the Empty Throne loves Flickering Ward. But the most fun card is Oath of Druids. The deck uses oath for value plays, and not to power out a huge fattie. Oath into Sun Titan or Hanna, Ship's Navigator while filling the graveyard sets you up for a long game and numerous answers to your opponents threats. In magical christmas land, you oath into sun titan, putting lots of enchantments into your graveyard. Sun titan trigger gets holistic wisdom, you exile a sorcery to get replenish back from your graveyard... party time!

Thanks to upvote if you like the deck, and even more thanks for sharing useful ideas for improvement.

Updates Add

After some more playtesting, I realized hoz much I disliked Words of Wind. Outside of the combo, I never ever want to replace a card draw by bounce. Usually, bouncing is effectively bad as it will allow your opponents to retrigger an ETB ability. I replaced it by Consecrated Sphinx, which is performing extremely well. You really need a lot of card advantage to play control in multiplayer.
